I'm not disparaging and have connections to the SS, but there are concerning commentaries emerging in this instance.

Born in 75, so most of those before my time.  But again, based on general increase in shootings, more surprised politicians haven't been targeted more.

A completely general realization.

Listening to a lot of the interviews of "witnesses on the scene," you realize why 1st person witness accounts are historically unreliable and lead to conspiracy theories. We are already starting to see the seeds of conspiracy theories, including here on Scoop.

I've heard a lot of people saying they saw things, or in the heat of the matter reporting their observations, that deviate from what we currently know to be true. i.e. multiple gunmen, gunmen in the rally, and others.

Lots of shots can be heard.  I doubt it was all "gunman".  Hopefully we didn't lose a SS guy.

There will be a complete and thorough investigation.   Blame will be assigned.  Procedures will be examined.   Heads will roll.   Professionals take this stuff seriously and personally.   The more professional they are, the more seriously they will take this and the process that follows.

Unbelievable.  Condolences to those who lost their life or were injured.  Sounds like Trump was about an inch from being killed.  Our country is in serious peril.   We really need to find a way to come together as a nation.   This is not like another assassination attempts.  We are as polarized as we have ever been and the extreme hatred on both sides is ubiquitous.  Terrible day for our nation.

No idea. That's why I wrote "may have been."
I'm working off the idea that the SS agents were acting based on their training and the best information available to them at the time, which is almost certainly better information than we here have (except for Goose, obviously).
