I have no idea what point you and Rocky are trying to make about my post. I thought it was strange he was exposed, nothing else. I made no proclamation and simply agreed with Titan's post.

There will be a complete and thorough investigation.   Blame will be assigned.  Procedures will be examined.   Heads will roll.   Professionals take this stuff seriously and personally.   The more professional they are, the more seriously they will take this and the process that follows.

This is the correct response.

I just hope that people don't try to politicize this. That would make a sad situation worse.

Really? Presidents were shot in the 60s, 70s (Shot at, anyway) and 80s. Two other big political assassinations in the 60s. Has it happened in the last 40 years?

Gabby Giffords, shot in 2011. She released an eloquent and passionate statement tonight: "Political violence is terrifying. I know. I'm holding former President Trump, and all those affected by today's indefensible act of violence in my heart. Political violence is un-American and is never acceptable—never."

Scalise, as was already mentioned.

And, of course, Pence, Pelosi and numerous others were targeted on 1/6/21.

I wonder if there will be a "complete and thorough investigation" of National media folks like Joy Reid. Just days ago she called Trump "Hitler" multiple times while explaining how she would vote for Joe Biden even if he was in a coma. She didn't say "Hitler like" or fascist or compare him to Hitler. She said Donald Trump is Hitler and said it more than once. I think most Americans would consider someone shooting Hitler heroic. We reap what we sow.

I don't know about the shooter in this instance. Could be a mentally ill freak who has been allowed to commit crimes over and over again. I'm wondering if she has confirmation on a political nature of this — apparently you believe it to be political. Seems like jumping to conclusions.
