Tyler was just picked by Portland with the 34th pick!

Then instantly traded to the Knicks

Sounds like to be traded to Knicks.

They didn't even show the pick!

BAM!!!!!!  Perfect situation for TyKo!!!

Good fit for him. Really happy for Tyler!
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Juan Anderson's Mixtape

The Knicks already have all of the Villanova players.  May as well add the owner, too.

They are talking about now on WFAN.

They radio hosts are very happy and they said this means the Knicks are trading Deuce Mcbride to free up cap space for I-Hart.

SaveOD238

I like this pick for Kolek and the Knicks.  He slots right in as Brunson's backup, where he should thrive with lots of good pieces around him.

totally. They were commenting last night about Brunson really being the only one that can generate plays for others. Kolek is option 2! Very happy for him

And a UConn fan and also a Knicks fan just called very excited because Kolek tortured UConn for years and thought is a perfect fir the NYK.

This is probably better for him than almost any other situation.

Perfect?, please explain why.  Yeah, AS OF RIGHT NOW, he will be backup behind McBride, Divencenzo, Hart, Burks, in the rotation with guards.  Brunson plays like 40 minutes a game and McBride picks up the rest as PG.

I am extremely happy he is with my beloved Knicks, but Tyler probably going to be a two way player and G League regular, pending no Knick injuries. Many other teams would have been a perfect situation.  If something changes, man, he would be a Madison Square Garden favorite.

Congrats to Tyler.

Just read about McBride trade rumors above, nice if that happens.  Changes everything. Hope it happens.  That why I said, as of now.

Congrats to Tyler.

Every single player picked after 15 in this draft is a possible a two way/ GLeague player.

Tyler COLEk

Knicks are a great fit for Kolek. Perhaps the only contending team on which he has a clear path to playing time his rookie season.

I need to know if UConn/Knicks fans having to cheer for Kolek playing on their NBA team makes the gap bigger or smaller.

Thank God! Got the notification on my phone that Kolek was headed to Portland and I groaned for a few reasons. But the Knicks, yes! They saw what TJ McConnell did against them and wanted their own version. Great fit for him!

Congratulations, Tyler. Too bad it had to be the Knickercats (all the VU guys).
Would have loved to see you closer to home in green.
