Nah, the real crime is selling Coke instead of Pepsi.

I grew up in a Pepsi house bc of business and I honestly thought i was the only Pepsi fan in Ameria.  My wife looks at me like I'm a lepar when I ask for it in public.

Someone needs to start a poll:

The Whisky fiasco was inexcusable and will haunt us all year. MU/Tyler bounced back well last night. Do think Texas is overrated. They did not look that good. These early season rankings do not mean too much. Lets see how we do 2/3 of the way through our conference gauntlet. One thing for sure though: this team is good but will go as far as Kolek can take them, so pray he remains healthy.

Good call. I was pretty damn impressed by Weaver - high-energy guy who played with an edge.

Agree...his athleticsim jumped out at me quickly when he entered the game.  NBA level athleticism.  He'll be a damn good player, though i suspect he's an average shooter at best.

I grew up in a Coca Cola house, my grandfather was one of the original bottlers, and my dad worked for Coke until I started high school. I remember my dad bringing home the first Diet Coke can or the first New Coke Can, doing the Pepsi Challenge at Woodfield Mall, my brother and I used to record ourselves singing “Coke Is It” or “I’d Like To Buy The World A Coke” and my favorite commercial of all time is the Mean Joe Greene Coke commercial. Never had a Pepsi before college, can’t stand the stuff.

As an investor, I prefer Pepsi (PEP) to Coca-Cola (KO) because of Pepsi's snack division. Frito-Lay kills it, and Coke has nothing like it.

I'm not a big soda drinker, but I enjoyed the Coke Zeros I got on my last couple of flights.

I think that’s a good point, Wilbur.  The loss to Wisconsin is inexcusable and will haunt this team all year.

Last night was a perfect example of how it will haunt them.  They were lethargic and let Texas score almost 30 points in the first half.  That doesn’t happen without the scars of the Badger game.  You could see the team played afraid and Shaka coached scared.

The inexcusable part is true, too.  Going on the road and losing to a veteran team that looks like it might contend for a Big Ten title is the kind of stuff bad programs do.

Let’s just take a second here…

A team we think will most likely be on the bubble “stinks”.

We were on or below the bubble like 7 of the 8 seasons pre-Shaka.

And ? You wanted Wojo fired 7 of those 8 seasons for stinking so what’s your point.

Ruined his entire life, so let him enjoy being reborn.

Just don't ever talk about a game that isn't the next game, because fans  famously cause losses when we do that.

Agree to disagree. Losing to those turds is always a nightmare. How about there is no excuse to lose to those pikers. None. Nada.

Disappointed they let Texas close the gap at the end. Need to learn to finish.
They had mostly scrubs playing last 3 minutes.

There was a missionary telling the sad story of his fellow missionary's demise:

I was hiding in the brush when my colleague was captured. After they roasted him they started eating him from his feet up to his thing, then they drank a case of Fresca, then they continued from his head down to his thing and downed the second case of Fresca.

Then someone asked, why didn't they eat his thing?

He replied, things go better with coke.

UT only played 8. In the last minute, their points were scored by Abmas. Shedrick, and Mitchell-3 starters

UW is up to 11 in KenPom and has a Projected record of 22-9 and 14-6 in the Big Ten.

It was a road loss in an "A" game that is really going to end up a complete nuetral result for us.  Claiming otherwise just highlights your ignorance.

Only disappointing thing about last night was Zaide's 1 rebound in 10 minutes.  I was told he had the elite athleticism that Jop lacks that is a requisite to compete at this level of basketball.  Alas, maybe playing against Southern makes you look like a better rebounder than when you're playing the big boys.

(He did do a good job defensively on Absmas.  He looked in over his head offensively.)
