REBOUNDING from a loss
« on: December 06, 2023, 08:51:48 PM »
1.  How about Zaide guarding Abmas?  Give Abmas his due.   Hellacious scorer.
2.  Chase Ross finally played like a dude.   When Shaka puts you back in with two fouls in the first half....
3.  Go 1-9, the offense stinks.  Start making a few, everything changes.
4.  12 minute runs are fun. 33-8 ish.  I am sure someone will correct me.
5.  The defense on those not named Abmas was really good, once the transition game was slowed.
6.  Rebounding was good.  Stevie set the tone early.
7. TKo remembered he is a first team AA and a team leader.  Showed off for the family in town for the game.
8.  It wasn't perfect early.   And then it was everything an MU Fan could ask for.
9.  MU showed themselves to be mentally tough, bouncing back from a disappointing loss.
10. Beat ND.

Awesome performance. Great effort on the boards. If Jop and Gold can play like that nightly we’ll be in good shape.

Didn't need turnovers to get stops today.

Heading up for the game Saturday. Will be disappointed if we don’t win by 40.

Solid win although Tex has some issues. Shout out to Jop who played well.  Tyko usurped the game at the end of the 1H.

They’ll be fine when they get Disu back.

They should be good. Absmas and Hunter should make up a good backcourt. Shedrick and Disu should make up a good front court. And they have a couple athletes on the wing.

But they don’t seem very well coached.

It's possible.  Remember they needed a last sec shot to be L'Ville.  Disu will help.

Or.... MU got on an angry run and took out their Saturday frustrations.   Texas will be fine.

Wisconsin fans might’ve thought the same on Saturday.

Marquette, and TyKo in particular, were men on a mission.

When Tyler is in that zone the entire team feeds off of it.

It was impressive. Easy athleticism.  Will be fun to watch develop.

Sure but we got him today, and hopefully again and again this season.

Losses to Wisconsin suck ass, but over the last 2 games it’s an overall positive in the computers, and the computers matter in March.

Amidst all the enjoyment, a downer from SJ22. Reverted to driving into the tall trees.

Hope he'll bounce back.

10. BeatKick the s**t out of ND.

FIFY. Each time we play ND, Tower, I am reminded of our suffering. No mercy. None.

Really happy to see Ross effective, active and under control. We will need him this season to get where we want to go.

Loved the effort pretty much all night, especially after first Zaide and then Stevie put the clamps on Abmas.

Oso was the best MU player for awhile but then obviously TK took over. He is so much fun to watch. Game was unofficially over when he hit that halftime dagger from Rowseyland.

Nice to see a couple splash through for Jop.

Was surprised to see Terry stick with his starters all the way to the end. Weird.
