He's another in the long line of Western Pennsylvania studs that played at Marquette:  Maurice Lucas, Ulice Payne, Joe Nethen, LLoyd Moore, Marc Marotta...

You forgot Mike McGonigle

I remember them like it was yesterday.  You could get a Gettleman's and Old Grand-dad boilermaker for a buck and a quarter and the barmaids would tell off-color jokes while filling your peanut bowl.

Now, you can't find an aircraft carrier and have to drink a seltzer or the woke mob gets you and whisky costs a $100 a shot.

nice to see we beat out xzavyer for him.  all the more cred to shaka!  many kids place a high value on being able to play for a good school close to home.  shaka had to have provided an edge up here.  hey mo, you still looking out for us up there-thanks man!

He will be on Marquette's campus next summer when he is still 17.

Welcome to MU!

That's never happened before.

The last good big man at Marquette was Terry Rand.  True aircraft carrier who was an alpha.  Wasn't PC either

Back when men were men and basketball players hit the mid-range jumper.

Terry had an incredible 10-foot hook shot. Don't think he dunked once at Marquette.  Knew how to box out, too.  Smoked two packs a-day and ate steak for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Today's bigs just want to dunk the ball and be on MSESPN and eat kale chips
