Marquette and Xavier both beat these guys twice in the regular season.

Big East is a bloodbath that prepares teams to go deep in March.

I have to say the fact that UCONN rolled through this tournament was pretty surprising.  I don't think they had a game that was much in doubt.

UConn went 17-0 in non conference games and won each by double digits.

Margin of victory in the tourney was 20

Won 12 of their last 13 games.   I forget; who was their loss against?
Have some patience, FFS.

2023-24:

Marquette. UConn. Creighton.
Xavier. Villanova.
St. John's, Georgetown, PC.

It's going to be a ride.

Three titles for the “new” Big East in 10 years.

UConn lost eight times to Big East teams, zero to anyone else.

Next season the league is going to be even better.  Likely three preseason Top 10 teams.

Congrats, UConn.  Let’s go, Marquette!

Congrats to UConn!   Big East will be very tough next year.   We need to improve on free throws - they Matt a - and get a big bruiser air craft carrier…..

Let’s Go Marquette!

Last team to win all 6 games by double digits in the NCAAs?

Villanova in 2018.

The "New" BEast has been just fine since its inception.  But the potential of our league moving forward has been kicked up a notch.

ESPN showed the list of most titles in the past 25 years.

Big East #1 (tied with ACC)

Big Ten not even on the list.

Does the L'Ville (vacated) title count for either the BEast or ACC?

I think the B12/BEast will be the two best conferences for the next decade.

Muggsy

The BE has a great group of coaches and the future is very bright. There is going to be no shortage of excitement next season in the BE season. I do not see anyone winning 17 games next year.

Big East is a bloodbath that prepares teams to go deep in March.

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to prepare every team to go deep in March.

The team that has only won 1 tourney game in a decade but let’s hang a banner.

Congratulations, UConn.

It was a great performance by the fourth best team in the Big East.

This ought to help the new TV contract negotiations.
