He was really bad. Watched the game after getting home...from the game. In the last 10 he was trying to coach and advocate for X most of the time. His insistence thst Boum wad somehow fouled by Stevie on the clean steal was extra annoying.

"They have no answer for Boum!!" Was said about 6 times on almost every basket

Given he coached there for a decade, I get it.  But it's still whack

To be fair, they didn't have an answer for Boum for awhile.  But even after Shaka made adjustments and he became less effective, Gillen kept saying they don't have answers and I thought "Yeah I think they figured it out."

But Boum is a really smooth player. Enjoyable to watch when not playing Marquette.

Boum is a great player and he is fun to watch. He is a very tough guy to stop for entire game if he is shooting well.

Gillen was indeed brutal tonight. The play-by-play was also bad and both seemed underprepared. It was a shame for such a big game and added to the anxiety.

CBSSN needs to get their game broadcasts in order. The studio pregames are good.

Agree. The studio pre-game, halftime and post-game is great. Solid crew there.

Stop it. The game has been over for 15 minutes and they've done nothing but praise MU, interview Shaka and Kolek, and show the locker room.

Despite the conference faux pas, I really like Bardo as an announcer.  I know he's got his things he repeats too much but I really like his style. 

There was a possession last night where we were fumbling the ball around for the entire possession and he says "Marquette's playing like there's butter on the ball!" which made me laugh out loud.
