Saying Creighton is better is just an opinion, as is saying Marquette is better.

As of this moment, Marquette has a better conference record, has a better overall record, has a better NET, has a better kenpom, is ranked higher in polls, and beat Creighton head-to-head (albeit without Kalkbrenner).

I have nothing against Jackson opining that Creighton is better, and nothing against you or other Scoopers opining that. Y'all have a right to believe and say anything you want.

But there is scant actual evidence to support "Creighton is better than Marquette" and a pretty good amount of evidence to support "Marquette is better than Creighton."

The cool thing is that it will be decided on the court and in the standings over the next 3 weeks.

Then, when Marquette is the conference champion and ahead in every still better, some no doubt will still be claiming Creighton is better -- just like Ewing used to always claim the Knicks were better even as he had to watch Jordan play in the NBA Finals.
