Sanders is very good and Hunter - WOW. Extremely physical wideout/corner. With great hands. My only "but"? He routinely pushes off to get open. They call that in the NFL.
Never called it on Michael Irving.

Their lines look bad. 3 of 4 on the road next. You're right they will score some points, but that's not a unique feature in the Big 12.

6-6??

I thought 7-5, further improvement but still not a consistent top 20 team.

I think Nebraska will be interesting.  First real game for a true freshman QB thats gonna need to score a bunch of points to keep up with CU.

I think KSU, Zona, and Utah are definite Ls, CSU and Cincy should be comfortable Ws, then I think they could grab 3 Ws between Baylor, UCF, TTU, Kansas and OSU.  Like I said, it will be entertaining regardless.  The teams that slapped them around are gone and they played Utah and Zona tough in losses last year.  They will have 2 of the best 5 players in every game (if not 2 of the 3).

Not all scoop users are created equal apparently

Huskers need to learn how to convert tough losses to wins.

This game is over.  You can tell Georgia is way better and their offensive line is gargantuan.

As of this post, it's 0-0 with 3 min left in the 1Q and the teams are within 10 yards of each other in total offense.  Georgia has under 40 yards of offense with that gargantuan line

With the transfer portal being such a big part of things now, real x's & o's coaching becomes more and more important. We aren't seeing a lot of that in Madison. They simply looked like a top half of the league MAC team.

The Sultan

I think the Phil Longo experiment has largely been the problem. I originally thought it was a good move, but it's clear the offense has no explosiveness whatsoever.

The defense is going to be fine however.

Not too surprising. Complete philosophical change in offensive identity with a cupboard left bare by Chryst. Next year will be the deciding year I think.

As of this post, it's 27-3 Georgia while out gaining them 363-135, 16-7 edge in first downs and 7 yards a play to 3.4

Guess Muggsy knows what he's talking about.

Dabo might want to rethink the transfer portal.

UGA is probably the best team in the country and Clemson did little or improve themselves from a very disappointed 2023 including bringing back an underwhelming disappointment at QB.  Stating UGA is way better or would win handily is not some savvy ball knower stance.

Declaring a game "over" in the first 10 min of the season opener for both teams when UGA hadn't even begun to assert themselves and had been initially stymied by Clemson's D is just a classic premature emotional overreaction which is a vintage Muggsy-ism

Scoop CFB takes are my favorite because 99% of posters don't know ball.

Not entirely new. But new OC. And they were playing Illinois State.

UGA was favored by 12.5 points. They won by 31, covering easily. So Muggsy was on the right side, big time. They could still be playing and Clemson wouldn't be to 19 (what it would take to cover) yet. The line was available to everyone, hope you and all Scoopers took advantage of what Muggsy and you (in retrospect here, anyway) predicted would be an easy win for UGA.
