Yet another day to celebrate freedom in America!

Good on Texas for getting the ball rolling on this holiday across other states and the Feds!!!

Juneteenth is a fun barometer for seeing people's true nature.  If you have a complaint about it...why?  Its harming nobody and its celebrating something very meaningful for a segment of the population.  Sorry you couldn't visit your local bank branch yesterday.

My good friend, who is AA, said about Juneteenth when it was originally announced...

"I mean, its fine.  Personally its not going to shape me meaningfully, I'm not going to throw an annual get together for it...but its recognition and acknowledgement and yet another remembrance...that can never hurt."

They still have to work 180 days a year in most states. Brutal.

Teachers are  the worst. All they want to do is indoctrinate our youth with CRT and LGBTQ crapola while they rake in the riches that go with being a teacher.

Who has it easier than teachers? They get total support from every state's government as well as all parents, they're all paid a ton, they don't have to work 3/4 of the year, and they repay us hardworking taxpayers with their indoctrination methods.

Why, some even ask kids to read books that have nothing to do with the Bible. Can you believe it?

Both of my adult children, each of whom has 2 children, believe strongly in public schools. My son, the father of my grand-twins, is married to a 5th-grade teacher.

I love my daughter-in-law. I just wish she weren't so overpaid and so into indoctrinating her students with CRT. All she does, all day long, is push CRT. This past school year was dedicated to "White people are evil." Crazy, huh? But at least it ended happily, with a fun book-burning ceremony.

My wife said this was her worst year teaching in in her 22 year career.  Too many students are f'd up and the parents either don't care or were super helicoptery like never before for defending do no work kids.

And she was rewarded by testing positive for COVID-19 on the last day of school.

In the meantime, the school board in Muskego has reversed plans to add an award-winning novel to the high school curriculum because it would give students an unbalanced view of the internment of Japanese Americans during WWII.
Who knew that was something you needed to both sides.

Still waiting for them to add a book detailing Hitler's side of the story, since Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl is on the curriculum.
