Finished Three Body Problem the other night.  Very enjoyable.

Currently watching Ripley... It's a slow burn, but beautifully shot and acted.

Harlen Coben limited series on Netflix.  There are 8 of them.
The younger daughter got the wife and I into them and we have been watching since the daughter arrived home at the end of the semester.  Every character has a secret.

As a fan of his novels, I've been mostly disappointed with the adaptations.
And when will Myron and Win get the long overdue screen treatment?

My wife and I are blazing through "Fool Me Once" and enjoying it.

Fool Me Once was good.
Richard Armitage is in 3 of the series.

I made it through 3 episodes but felt the same way.

Just finished two other series.

Baby Reindeer was troubling, a very difficult watch but compelling and well done.

Bodkin started very slowly but finished strong.

I'd recommend both.

Just finished Baby Reindeer. It was fantastic. Extremely unsettling and uncomfortable to watch but in a very compelling way. As someone who works with both stalkees and stalkers on regular basis I think they did a very good job at demonstrating some of the nuances, thought processes, and pitfalls that both sides fall into.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

We recently watched two Hulu series.

Under The Bridge was good, got better as the series progressed. Lily Gladstone was excellent, Riley Keough very good as the other lead, and several of the kids were believable.

The Veil was OK. Decent action and/or suspense in several episodes, but lots of unbelievable plot twists and a final episode that should have been thrilling but was instead a bit boring because it was at least 15 minutes too long. Far too many long silences, furtive glances and the like for effect.

TAMU - thanks for the Baby Reindeer review. I've heard nothing but great things about it, and it's on our list to watch soon.

Needed something light to binge in between all the excellent but heavy offerings on Apple+ and Netflix and such.

My wife hadn't seen What We Do in the Shadows so I decided to rewatch it.  I forgot how absolutely hysterical this show is.  Every episode has at least one audible laugh moment. Whether physical humor or off the wall references, it's just so good. Matt Berry is also a treasure

Thank you - very light but very funny....

Yup very good show. Won't be rewatching probably ever. But very good.

Would love to see him do more work in movies and tv going forward

Sling Blade (1996) is an incredible film
with a phenomenal cast.  Not just B-B-T.   Do we know if one should call it a sling blade or a kaiser blade?

Binge watched Band of Brothers for the ~6th time.

Such a great series.

Did my rewatches of S1 HoD and s3 Boys to get ready for both to finally come back this week.

Both excellent shows.

Will probably do s2 of the Bear soon to get ready for that too

I had seen The Bear but my wife hadn't, so we're watching it now. Just finished first episode of S2. My wife's first reaction about halfway through the first episode of the series: "This is stressful. All they do is scream at each other!" But she's really enjoying it now.

And PGs ... great idea to rewatch The Boys S3. I think I'll do the same.

There are some good things about The Bear, but your wife is exactly right. Way too much screaming and it doesn't dissipate at any point.

And PGs ... great idea to rewatch The Boys S3. I think I'll do the same.

Watched a 2001 film "I am Sam" with Michele Pfiefer, Sean Penn and 7-year-old Dakota Fanning. Very uplifting film if you have not seen it.

I liked it even more on rewatch. I think rewatching with all the time jumps and so many characters with the same names made it flow a lot better and now im very ready for Sunday, this is when the story should really kick into gear too with no more jumps

The boys officially ending with S5

Happy with that. Don't drag it on and wrap it up.

Love the show

Daemon not helping the cause.

Well they arguably left it ambiguous by cutting from the scene before Daemon answered their final question...but I think their ultimate actions shed some light on how he might have answered.

So are we sure it was the boy?  Just weird the way they never checked.  And I could see mom wanting to claim it was the boy so that they didn't come back for the boy.  (Being intentionally ambiguous on spoilers here; also, not a book reader, and I guess it is answered there - although the series could deviate)
