I saw a headline that called him "America's Dad".

Um, no.

Also, you never want to see "Found Dead in an Orlando Hotel Room" in any celebrity death story.
Have some patience, FFS.

I thought the same but a quick google shows it was the Ritz.

The Aristocrats!

That was the first time I realized that the host from America's Funniest Home Videos was actually funny.

You think they never have hookers and blow at The Ritz?

Not saying this is the case in this instance..

He’d just done a two hour set last night too.  :'(

What’s amusing is the *real* Bob Saget was nothing like the AFHV and FH Bob Saget who everyone loved in the early 90’s.

All I am saying is that if I died of a heart attack in a suite at Caesar's Palace, I would not want the story to be that I was found dead in a Las Vegas hotel room.

Is it conceivable he simply had a heart attack?

If you did how could the story not be that?

      Or “foul play”

First of all, RIP bob, but not sure that’s possible until they get this thing cleared up and the “rest of the story” remains “no drugs or foul play”   Sounds like he was universally well liked, so hopefully the wild and crazy stories will remain at a minimum

All I'm saying is maybe we should wait more than 5 minutes before speculating on the cause of death?   He coud have had a heart attack, a Tony Montana mountain of blow, or 500 things in between.

Well now its haunted by the ghost of Danny Tanner, so idk if that makes it more or less of a draw.

I know a couple of people that had encountered Bob professionally/personally and couldn’t speak higher of him. My old roommate’s father was actually floormates with him at Temple and kept in sporadic touch after all those years.

Once the 2000s revealed the crass degenerate brand of comedy that directly countered his Full House/AFHV persona, it almost seemed like he was an unsavory character.  But much like Norm, his comedy was super edgy and offensive to some, but the man behind it was an great guy who was truly a mensch

Better being found dead in a Las Vegas hotel room than an Orlando hotel room.
