I suppose a positive spin on this is that it is good to have a tired, poor shooting night in a game they weren’t expected to win.

We just keep trying to beat them 1 on 1. No offense at all.

Why does this always happen on national TV?

Bonnies basically toying with us this whole game. It's OK, good to take a loss for this club, will build some character. Hard getting blown out again on ESPN though

hey, with the last 7 years we are used to games like this

I actually think we’ve only had a handful of performances this stinky the past seven years.  If they were shooting average from 3 St Bona would be up 30-35 points.

Bummer. Was a super fun run and we should all be ecstatic to be 5-1 right now. Take these next 2 cupcakes and then find a way to go 2-1 against Wisco, K State and UCLA and we’re in FANTASTIC shape.
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Aside from Lewis, there are zero MU players with multiple made FG in this game...

Of all the times to lay a clunker, got some eyeballs on the mother ship ESPN, and some people looking our way…only to shat the bed, it’s unreal how cold they are shooting wise it totally deflated them, time for 3pt shooting practice and then get ready for N.Illinois

We're more talented than the Bonnies.

We're deeper than the Bonnies.

Our coach is at least as good as the Bonnies.

Experience (and lack there of) matters

This might be one of the funniest posts I've read in awhile!

We’re up against Steelers/Chargers, and HBO. Not many eyeballs watching this.

How are we more talented?  I think the Bonnies are a good team.

Never said they weren't a good team.  They're better than us this season. Talent is just one factor that goes into how good a team is. They have experience in spades

On the verge of one of worst performances in years.  Shame it was on national Media

One field goal in eleven minutes.  That’s crazy.  One

More turnovers than field goals made
More fouls than field goals made.

Play the Freshmen now rest of game.

An ass kicking to a decent but not great team on ESPN isn’t great for the brand.

This sucks but there is some value in getting your ass handed to you early in the season for a young team.

An ass kicking ti a decent but not great team on ESPN isn’t great fir the brand.

To be fair, the “brand” hadn’t been good for years so it’s not all bad. 5-1 for this squad is a huge W at this point.
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.
