Pretty trashy move by the Bonnie's. I understand calling timeout to get subs in. Every other time I've seen that, the players just come in, and play on.

They not only did a full huddle, but when the timeout was a over stayed in the huddle celebrating and relishing the crowd's cheers.

Shaka was right to be mad. Most coaches/teams show more respect for the game than the Bonnies did.

That’s why they’re a mid-major

About as much class as I'd expect from them.

I will love seeing them get knocked off in March.

Not having a pure shooter…not even one…will matter a lot as the season rolls on.

Horrendous shooting on really open threes could have been less. Stuff happens. Nice of them to finish down 16 instead of 25.

Getting that to 16 instead of the 30-35 it could've been is much better for our postseason hopes. This wasn't pretty and no one will be celebratory, but considering how bad it looked earlier, that's a positive.

I didn't like their hubris all game.  They won't do much in the NCAA tournament imo.

Hey congrats! You beat an inexperienced team you should beat.

Enjoy the opening round loss come March.

In game news, glad they finally hit this seven foot goof ball with a technical. Why hes constantly showboating and flexing after making layups on an open rim is beyond me.

Funny, but that's not what I heard before the game. This team is good and will go deep into the tournament. No telling where they might end up. Feel bad for you guys. never really had a chance.

Agree, in a way it’s a silly thing to take as a positive, but it’s very true. The final margin doesn’t look that bad. I was pissed Ellis missed those last two free throws.

The Bonnies subs looked completely lost out there.

Good team and good luck the rest of the way. Make sure to enjoy every game, because next year you’ll be cheering on a whole new team…with a whole new coach.

How you lose matter. Need to cut that lead. Louisville missed out last year because of two lopsided losses that killed their NET. Get it to 15-20 and that's a win despite the huge loss.

Honestly, thank God they did this
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Yep. This is their year in the sun. Kinda like how Creighton fans acted Dougie's senior year.

Is maybe winning one game "deep"?

Excuse my ignorance but has SBU made the tournament since Bob Lanier?

Let's keep the whining to a minimum, guys. I see this here every year about how classless other teams are, how they disrespect the game (gotta follow the unwritten rules, ya' know). how unprofessional the other coach is, blah, blah, blah.

Just knock it off. Whining is for losers.

They kicked our ass on national TV and earned the right to gloat. Nice school nice team. Save this bs for Wisconsin and Notre Dame.

I’m with Jockey and Mutaman. The Bonnies deserve a little gloating.we got whipped - let’s tip our hats and pick up the pieces - and fight another day.
