I would think many (perhaps most) readers would immediately wonder: "So why only one season?"

Adding a sentence like this -- "Hauser and his older brother, Sam, left Marquette after that season due to a difference of opinion about how the team was being coached" -- would have been fact, not innuendo, and it would have added context for readers.

Given that Hauser will be playing for Wojciechowski again, I think readers would be interested in that.

Brother MU and I had many of the same Journalism professors at Marquette.

Our favorite, having graded the Wojo story in MIL would have graded it "F", Mandatory Re-write, for leaving out the Hauser/Wojo/Howard dispute that led to Coach Wojo's downfall. To leave that fact out, even for a largely Michigan audience, is journalistic malpractice.

The Baby Hauser as a draft afterthought is no surprise. Perhaps the Baby Hauser never learned to read and, as such, missed that Wojo was hired in Utah. God only knows but I would have thought he would play in Outer Slobobia before 80 cave-creatures before he played for Wojo again.
