IF (it's a big if) Wojo recognized that his in-game coaching sucked, this is a very smart step for him.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

Does Wade’s son still play on the Jazz’s GLeague team? He’s still a minority owner.

Wojo introduced as Stars coach

https://kslsports.com/502005/stars-name-steve-wojciechowski-head-coach/

Nice article. Seems like a nice guy. Good luck to him.

He says being fired by MU was “one of the best things that’s ever happened to him”. Also one of the best things that’s ever happened to MU basketball. Who doesn’t love happy endings?

Is what you did this morning in your master bathroom called “masterbation” or do you call it something different?

I wonder who will coach the Jazz Summer League team. Hope Wojo gets the job.

https://www.wsaw.com/2023/06/23/working-stevens-point-native-joey-hauser-signs-two-way-deal-with-utah-jazz/?outputType=amp

Well, Wojo will coach the G League team, which Joey will play parts of next season for.

Didn't mention their "unique" relationship, though.

Old School journalism not reporting innuendo.

The article had this paragraph:

"The Stars will be coached this season by Steve Wojciechowski, who coached Hauser during his first college basketball season at Marquette in 2018-19."

I would think many (perhaps most) readers would immediately wonder: "So why only one season?"

Adding a sentence like this -- "Hauser and his older brother, Sam, left Marquette after that season due to a difference of opinion about how the team was being coached" -- would have been fact, not innuendo, and it would have added context for readers.

Given that Hauser will be playing for Wojciechowski again, I think readers would be interested in that.

Thanks for the journalism lesson professor 82.

I doubt many were waiting on pins and needles wondering, "Something's missing here.  Why didn't Wojo coach him the next few years?!"

Brother MU and I had many of the same Journalism professors at Marquette.

Our favorite, having graded the Wojo story in MIL would have graded it "F", Mandatory Re-write, for leaving out the Hauser/Wojo/Howard dispute that led to Coach Wojo's downfall. To leave that fact out, even for a largely Michigan audience, is journalistic malpractice.

The Baby Hauser as a draft afterthought is no surprise. Perhaps the Baby Hauser never learned to read and, as such, missed that Wojo was hired in Utah. God only knows but I would have thought he would play in Outer Slobobia before 80 cave-creatures before he played for Wojo again.

This outta be interesting!

I don’t believe Sam or Joe were ever quoted publicly expressing displeasure with Wojo’s Coaching . They each gave specific on the record reasons for their transfer .

Of course Scoop posters have privileged information contradictory to the official on the record position of Sam and Joey.

So i guess you are saying Scoop is indeed fact and not hearsay or innuendo.
