Woke up wondering: Is the word still swirling?

If so, how would we rate the swirl? Violent churning? Mild spinning? Medium spiraling?

Stop the politics!

I was there when the FIRE DUKIET banner was unfurled, but my recollection is that it got cheers at first but then there were some boos.

Is that accurate or is my memory faulty?

I remember 2 such banners, but I was drinking a lot at the time.  I think there were cheers, then some "disapproving of the public display" and "support the program" type reaction.

Something like that.  It was a Saturday night so, like connie, was probably more than a little buzzed at the time.  How else were we supposed to survive a Dukiet coached game?

So pretty much exactly what's happening right now?

I think the drain might be plugged. It could be backing up, I don't know. But I don't think it is swirling.  But I know nothing about plumbing or the physics of water or the internal working of MU.   Well, I do not that water, like people, tend to take the path of least resistance.

Scholl may take the complete opposite approach and never say a single word about Wojo this offseason.

Let the emotions settle and let the 24 hour news cycle do it’s magic.

I'll add, that I have thought that Wojo's approach to this season was spot on.  He was not going to be the yelling, pushing, get everything out of each player  coach this year.  He knows his team and the circumstances.  The mental and emotional health of the players were given top priority given the circumstances with Covid.  This is spot on for MU.  I give him a pass for this year.  That is the way to handle a college team during Covid, to do otherwise, places oneself above the interest of your players and others.

Exactly. The most important thing for a coach at MU to focus on is that their scholarship players feel good about themselves.

Has he ever been that coach? I don’t know that I’d ever describe Wojo as a “get everything out of a player and team” coach.

Dodd’s has been uncharacteristicly quiet since  the article was posted in his site.   About the only thing he has to say is the administration is not counting the results is the covid year.
His lack of continual non-stop defense of Wojo makes me wonder if something under way with Wojo leaving.

Given how often he comes up here, a lot of Scoopers care about John Dodds.

And BTW, love your new screen name.
Hooohoo boy you have egg on your face. Are you going to apologize for being smug and condescending and then being wrong??

Likely not. Thanks for playing, 82. It’s been fun.
