Fess up ... did you make that up, or do you just know a good line when you steal one (as do I)?

Because I gotta admit, I'm stealin' "Justice Stepford"!

I actually did make it up. Was thinking about Handmaiden too. Steal away!

There is a new judge waiting in the wings to break any ties. She quite possibly will be the deciding vote in this election.

Which they have admitted is exactly why they rushed the confirmation.

If not through the courts they'll try to steal it through the electors. Who wouldn't put is past Vos and Fitzgerald to overrule the will of the voters and send their own electors?

Regarding the incident in Texas with the Biden bus, Trump tweeted Sunday that those patriots did nothing wrong.

I've seen a lot of references to Handmaid's Tale, so I really like Justice Stepford. Well done.

I don't believe it. trump cares about his people.

For those concerned about USPS delays of absentee ballots, or court rulings that restrict receipt dates, another possible option.

Here in Minnesota, a person can check the status of their absentee ballot online. In an MPR News article this morning, the Secretary of State clarified that you still can vote in person if it appears that your absentee ballot wasn't received in a timely manner. If you do that, your 'transit' ballot is overridden so it won't be counted when it is ultimately received.

He urged people to check the status of their ballot at mnvotes.org, and consider voting in person if a ballot remains outstanding.

"You can override the in-transit ballot. And what happens then is you will vote in-person and when that ballot arrives say Wednesday, Thursday or Friday it just won't be counted," Simon said. "It will be invalidated. The voter will have been shown as already having voted in-person."

I don't know what the rules are in other states, but I urge anyone who is concerned about mailing/receipt dates and deadlines to check with their state or local election officials.

NC also accepting ballots received late, so the calculus will need to be margin + the ballots outstanding that theoretically could arrive late (unless those voters turned out in person instead)

Glad to see such a high percentage night of, though I think the NC margins are razor thin.

I like this rule a lot. Very common sense way of making sure every voter's ballot is counted.

97% of votes expected to be in and counted on election night in North Carolina:

Looks like we have to change 'Karen' to Nancy or Jennifer.

Nevada Judge denies Republican and Trump Campaign requests to change ballot processing and observing, to stop using the signature matching machine. The court found that if the machine was not used, the county would not be able to meet the canvas deadline.

Pakuni, that Twitter link is why people march, and why this election is so important.

How dumb and trashy can people be that they think they have that right but don't see the similarities between the more aggressive protestors and rioters at the marches. I mean they're no better.

Dumb/trashy/violent people are always going to display those traits.

My bigger concern is the police that we should be holding to a higher standard.

Sadly it was just what I expected. Personally was just glad those cops didn't try to arrest the people who were harassed and prayed.

Trump did say he has the police on his side.

I fear there will be a lot more of this on Tuesday/Wednesday. Hoping some cops will actually do their job.

The jokes do write themselves sometimes.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.
