Coronavirus is just a conspiracy by JJ Redick to keep Markus from passing him on the all-time points list. What a jerk.

I really think if it is suspended, it is cancelled. You have to worry about locations, hotel rooms, television.

The NBA playoffs will be in full swing and the MLB season would have started.

I agree, it's likely cancelled, but they could try holding it over two weekends, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. R64/R32/S16 the first weekend, E8/F4/NC the second. Last two weeks of April or first two weeks of May wouldn't clash as much with other events. And the schedule would mimic Maui & conference tournies where teams do already play back to back days.

If nothing else, it buys time to explore options, even if cancellation is most likely.

Was looking forward to a couple things this tournament.  One was how Markus would finish his career and the other was how the Big East would perform.   We had a very strong conference this year and I wanted to see it play out with possibly several teams making it to the second weekend.  Oh well.

We may have seen the last major b ball event with a crowd folks. Who knows when it will happen again

You mean like no crowds again ever?  Settle the f**k down and get some perspective.

Not quite sure about either of those things, but point taken.

The assumption is that if the NCAA tournament can happen then those things can as well.

Bro, the semester doesn't end until May.

Maybe a few guys leave early for the nba, the rest won't happen before May.

But what's the availability of venues? Heaven forbid if the venue has a monster truck pull scheduled for the weekend that they were to host the NCAA tournament.  But it could become a logistical nightmare to delay by even a week.

Trying to.mentally prepare for the season cancelation. This just sucks. Big ten done no way ncca will happen

I'm sure in the country with the most stadiums in the world we could find enough spots to play 67 games over 3 weekends

Whats even with the suspense anymore. Clearly this season is done. Just call it already. No chance

It's not done. It might be postponed.Either that or someone needs to post the Animal House clip, with Bluto wearing a BIG EAST sweatshirt, instead of one stating COLLEGE

Watching the CU vs STJ game right now, with limited fans it still seems loud

FYI:

I am 87.6% sure, according to various statistical models I have run, numerous unbiased scholarly articles, and polls in 9 different countries and 14 different states, that if the NCAA season gets cancelled without a tournament, Wojo will get a clean slate beginning next year, meaning it will require an additional 5 years to arrive at a proper and educated judgment on his coaching abilities.

crazy the BE marches on despite every other conference stopping...  chances they stop before the end of games today?   or will it be Marquette getting pummeled by Seton Hall as the final NCAA game played this year..

The BE is going to look really bad if someone playing or working today's games ends up infected.
