Carbonation and sugar will kill you.

Unless the place is brand new and was designed that way, I'd guess that those were probably originally gendered bathrooms but they removed the designation without remodeling them.

Wat? Yes. It was a women's bathroom and they changed it to NG

Glow and I have a friend who doesn't get hangovers.

He chooses not to drink because he is afraid that the lack of a "penalty" for overdrinking might get him into trouble.

Thusly demonstrates why I don't get people who say "marijuana is no dangerous than alcohol" (all the while ignoring he fact that the body doesn't have a defense mechanism against marijuana like it does with alcohol).

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Ok... so what's not to understand about that?

Why would you do this? I do not understand.

I'm not sure I'm on the same page as you. Is your confusion less about "why are there multiple stalls in there" and more about "why have gender neutral bathrooms"?

So you didn't drink because of fear of bad hangovers or because you were being such a grand role model for your kids? I don't get it.

I didn't drink because I felt my body was telling me not to. It was a personal/health decision.

But at the time, my kids were 6 and 5 years old, and I thought an added benefit of my decision was that my kids would see that an adult could thoroughly enjoy life without booze. Which I did.

As it turned out, being a role model like this was overrated. As is the case with 99% of kids, they made decisions on their own as they grew up. Both are now in their early 30s, both enjoy the occasional alcoholic beverage (as do I), and both are responsible, successful, fantastic adults.

They soon will be parents themselves and will get to see how much "fun" they can have trying to influence their own kids!

Because it is a simple fact.

Got another one from driving this morning. People who slow down over railroad tracks as if it's a speed bump. What's wrong with going normal speed over the tracks?

I've wondered this for years. It's bumpier if you slow down as well.

Hit a curb going 5 mph.  Now hit it going 35 mph.

Short answer is that it is a lot easier on your suspension.

Honestly, it depends on the tracks.  There are some in Madison that are horrible, and others that you can go full speed over without thinking about it.

Also, a bad guy wanting to lay in wait and jump someone as they are getting into their car will pick this one as opposed to one with a "Gold's Gym" bumper sticker.

you have obviously never mixed beer, wine and Jameson all within a few hours.

don't be so sure (except swap scotch for the Jaimo)

it doesn't matter what form(s) the alcohol was in, I think 1 aspect to hangovers for many is the crap you might be mixing your cocktails with: Coke, 7-UP etc.

I did this last monday adding in tequilla, jager and baby guiness shots. It was not my best decision.

What is it about the carbonation that is killing you? Sugar hate I get. Carbonation hate I don't.

Walking through the airport yesterday, within a couple of minutes I saw two men wearing Grateful Dead t-shirts.  I never got the Grateful Dead.

Although I did have a lot of fun just walking around the area where all the Deadheads were hanging out when they were in Milwaukee when I was at Marquette.

I never got the Dead either but figured I was too young for them. I tried to get into Phish when I got to MU upon the encouragement of friends but couldn't get into them either.

Same for me.

Some of Garcia's work outside the Dead was pretty good, though.

I thought their music was pretty decent but I wasn't a "fan". For their fans (those I knew anyway) it was about lifestyle as much (or more) as it was about the music.

swoopem

I'm a huge deadhead and was waiting for someone to mention them. Took 17 pages, not bad.

The modern day version, Dead and Company, just played two nights at Wrigley (both shows were fantastic) which is why you probably saw people at the airport wearing the shirts
