Besides my regular 6 seats I had ordered an additional 6 with the “1 per season ticket promo”.
All 12 will have attendees.  Lots of negative folks on this board gripe about attendance but I bet not many go out of their way to bring friends.  Maybe they don’t have any.

It’s going to be a large crowd for sure.
I’ll throw $100 on any bet if anyone thinks it’ll be 10,000 or less.

10K+.  I have no doubts.  However, who makes the determination?  Because announced/official attendance is a lock to be well north of 13K, but that's not butts in seats.

Will be great when a large, loud crowd shows up to cheer our lads to victory and shaddup some of the Debbie Downers 'round these parts.

Well, the "Be the Student Package" maxed out. That explain's why singles are not being sold for the Buffalo game. Also, looking at for the first time today on ticketmaster, the seats that were available on Wednesday are now gone today. This really might be a huge crowd on Friday. Also, the first 5,000 fans get a glow in the dark MU t-shirt.

You are welcome, everybody.  8-)
Have some patience, FFS.

Bucks were promoting in game last night as a top 20 match-up. Betting the crowd is at least KSU sized. Know lots of casual fans going

Nice to hear. In the 40 + yrs ive been going to mu games,  a good ranked opponent has pretty much always been responded to with  big good crowds.  Lets hope its loud too and can help carry MU over the top.  I havent been to fiserv yet but all reports i have personally received have said its great and finally brings back a significant home court advantage that we lost at tge bradley center

Watching the Texas Tech - Duke game on ESPN.

Jimmy Butler was in the crowd, and when they showed a closeup of him, Dickie V said, "His team, Marquette, has a big game tomorrow against Buffalo."

The hype is growing.
Have some patience, FFS.

I see it opened at -3.5. Now, It's -2.

Hummm. I see now.
I wonder why my scores & odds app reads the opening at -3.5. Cause every listing after that does show -2.

That app is pretty sweet. It list all these casinos. Just the open line shows different. I wonder why. You can create any casino listing you want in the app. Same as the link you provided.

I fear that some of the Debbie Downers will always be Debbie Downers, regardless of crowd size or game outcome.

I agree, but the general student population isn't as knowledgeable. They need the enticement and transportation.

My kid walks to the games with his homies.  They have been quite visible in the UW and K State games on tv cheering on the warriors in the first few rows.  But now that Xmas break is in swing, we will be watching together tomorrow night from California.

One of the employees in my group played at U of Buffalo in football and soccer.  We have been having fun talking up the game the last few weeks.  Hope it works out same way for the UW-Madison employee in my group (nice guy), and MU gets another win.

I'll be at the game tonight with my son.  My son has Bucks season tickets and he said that at Wednesday night's Bucks game, the Bucks really hyped up this MU-Buffalo game.  Ads for the game were on every Fiserv TV, they kept mentioning it at timeouts and gave out some tickets as prizes.  Good to see the Bucks supporting Marquette.

Wonder if the bucks get a percentage of tickets sold or if it's due to potential concession sales then that'd be good enough incentive to market MU games

They get $3 per ticket plus all of the concessions and with the margin on an $11 16oz Miller Lite, that is a lot of incentive

Our family of four going (using the free non con game). Others using our season tickets and yet others using our mini pack tickets. Should be a good crowd.

Stubhub down to 90 total tickets for the game. Looking for a real solid turnout.

I might be saying it different. Bucks get nothing off of the Marquette tickets. Bucks do get the Arena Ticket Fee charge.

Actually looking at how many tickets are left. It's close to a sell-out.
About 50 left on the re-sell ticketmaster site.
About 300 left on ticketmaster via the Marquette site.
About 90 left on Stub-Hub.

It definitely feels like this game might be the perfect storm, attendance-wise - two ranked teams on an upswing, on a Friday night leading up to a big holiday weekend.  Probably a whole lot of casual fans (of MU or basketball in general) wanting to check out the FF for the first time, hopefully see a good game, and kick off their holidays with something other than avoiding their awkward relatives.

I have a weird feeling the stadiums going to be packed but the student sections are going to be woefully empty
