The student section maxed out on single for the Buffalo game. Some tickets are going to MPS kids. Also, they have to keep spots open as students who have season tickets who will come.

I didn't know the be a student thing maxed out. In that case I change my expectation of it being woefully empty to low energy. Not that I don't believe in the alumni and MPS kids but outside of recent grads how many are going to have the energy to act like a legit college student section?

I've been to many Marquette games during breaks where there was plenty of energy.

I put the link before your post. Tough 91-87 loss to #6 Xavier. Student section was half way full in the upper deck. Lower deck of the student section was pack. Which would mean 2,300 were in the student section by the numbers. Great energy in the Bradley Center. Attendance- 15,095. I was surprised that the paid attendance was that low, because it did seem like 14-15k was in the building.

Agreed however how many of those at bucks games are between tge ages of 60-80??  Unfortunately at MU games between the end lines about the only time u get anyone to stand up and cheer is in a tight game with less then 5 minutes left.  And then only maybe at that.  MU has good attendance relative to other colleges but the fans are horribly subdued relative to other college crowds.  Fiserv will make it better than the Bradley which had the homecourt advantage of a funeral home

If that happens, they should definitely go to the cheap seats and ask people wearing Marquette gear if they want to move down.

A similar thing has happened to us  at Las Vegas shows.  We tend to dress up when we go out, and the showroom managers like the front to be full.  I've seen some good shows from the first few rows because of this.

How has the noise level been at the MU games? I feel the new arena is more full for Bucks games but the high-end noise level is a lot less than the BC due to the open concourse in the former and the concrete block that reflected the noise in the later.

Shocking. Student section is 100% sold out. They had to stop the be a student package for this game.

It's going to be a very large crowd. Marquette exchange, sold out. Seatgeek, Sold out. Ticketmaster, 4 tickets. Around 25 tickets on Stubhub.

"Be the Student" and some MPS kids got student tickets. Plus, MU has to hold student seats open for students who we hope show up to the game.
