1.  When will Elliott get back and how soon will he be able contribute?
2.  How will MU play during its NEXT road game?
3.  Is Sam healthy?    I still think he looks like he is laboring from time to time.
4.  MU is 8-2 with......Markus playing hero ball..... Sam going through a shooting slump..... inconsistent production from BB, JH, Cain, Chartouny, Morrow.    All have had their moments, but none have been consistent.
5.  What is Joey's ceiling THIS YEAR?
6.   Morrow vs Theo, who should start at the 5?
7.   Will Chartouny ever make another 3?
8.  Why does NET hate Marquette?

1. Southern. He will contribute in that game, slump for awhile and then settle in during the 2nd half of the big east season
2. Not well. Wojo has struggled big time @SJU. Have we won their in the past 5 years?
3. Yes but reassimilating himself
4. Agreed. Good sign. Getting results while the process hasn't been perfected.
5. High.
6. Theo. Morrow if he was 2 inches taller.
7. Probably. Maybe.
8. Does it? Aren't we top 30?

I can guarantee MU will be undefeated this week.

Damn it!  That was suppose to cover ten days!  Asked and answered in ten minutes.

Don't think Elliot is back before the Buffalo game  and will be getting spot minutes while he works himself back into the rotation as part of the first half of conference play

Unless he is practicing today, I do not see him back to middle of January, since he will need time to get back in basketball shape and playing ability.  Might be time
to redshirt.

I don't think the hand injury prevents him from keeping in shape (cardio).  He can even dribble with his right hand :)

Elliot's cardio will be fine. He's been sprinting/running/etc since a week after the surgery. From what I've heard he's been doing as many drills right handed as he can as well. It's really just going to take time for him to be confident with his left and get back into the flow of a game.

Tried the Arbynator the other day.  Wasn't very good.

Is it just curly fries on the beef 'n cheddar?

Yah, and a crap load of horsey sauce, which sort of killed it for me.

It's ok for the fans to look past this off day to the next off day, as long as the team doesn't.

So was the bow tie a clip on or legit. That will give us our best clue as to Greg's recovery.

This is the most interesting one for me. For starters, I think calling production inconsistent Brendan and Jamal is a bit of a stretch. I would call Ed and Chartouny inconsistent since they have had at least a handful of games with meaningful contributions. For Brendan and Jamal, I just don't feel like those guys have had a chance to truly impact a game yet. (although Brendan did play well against Charleston who is #306 in NET)

Joey, on the other hand, is averaging 28 minutes, 11 points, 5 boards, and 2 assists per game 10 games into his freshman season.  Sure, he was quiet against K-State, but I don't think he's in the same camp as some other guys on the team.

And then Sam I don't think is playing as poorly as some might think. He's averaging 14 pts, 7 rbs, and 2.5 asts per game so far. Shooting 38.5% from 3 is definitely a decline for him after shooting almost 50% last year, but defenses have to pay more attention to him now that we don't have a 3rd elite shooter on the floor. I'm surprised at how many good, clean looks he's missed so far, but I expect that to improve as everyone begins to solidify their roles in the offense. He may not have the ability to go off for 30 like he has the last 2 years, though, just because of the way our offense has changed this year. Since we're not going to be hitting 85-90 regularly, that's going to impact his scoring compared to past years.

- we've got to admit, MU has been very fortunate. The key games that we really needed to win have been at home except for LV....and even that game as well as UW were last minute and we came out on top. Lots of key home games, 2-0 on the close ones, 2 losses not unexpected to high caliber teams.
