FOB ft James F Butler.

I use to be a MASSIVE Fall Out Boy fan.  First album is beyond special to me and the next 2 I still love.  Unfortunately, haven't really enjoyed or connected with most of their recent stuff.  That being said, they've always had goofy, creative, yet quirky videos that Ive always loved.

Love him or hate him, there are very few athletes who would do this, and that's amazing.  The fact that an NBA superstar would wearing an absurd outfit and do this is incredible, makes his media day picture even more hilarious.

I think Jimmy was in a Luke Bryan music video.

Checking out the new Pabst venue on the East Side (MKE) this week called The Vivarium. The Back Room closed at the end of the year, was one of my favorite small venues around. Seeing a band called The Moss, can't wait.

Just got a recommendation to check out Jacob Collier. Wow, mind blowing, genre bending experience. I probably listened to "Time Alone With You" ten times in a row. Considering checking him at at The Aragon Ballroom in June.

I'm not sure anyone will be picking fights with Kendrick anytime soon.

Dropping the hammer

J Cole dropping out went from looking cowardly to very understandable.

Teddy's got some good stuff.
Enjoying KWAYE. Lost In My Boots and Straight Lines are two good neo-soul songs.

Oh, she'd have been a jumper for sure.

Same would work with the lead singer from Train, but for different reasons.

Headed to Richmond next week for a two-day music fest, Nathanial Rateliff & The Nightsweats are part of the lineup. He/they are so good.

Noah Kahan rescheduled show at Alpine Valley last week was so good, incredible really. Tonight is Amos Lee (with the Indigo Girls) at Red Rocks, one of the best live voices at one the best venues. Can't wait.

Been listening to a ton of The California Honeysrops and Say She She, also some Sid Simons and Bec Lauder. Kinda diggin on Cab Ellis.

RIP to JD Souther - one of rock's great song writers. Wrote a fair number of the Eagles hits, but also some stuff for Linda Ronstadt.

Jealous of the Noah Kahan and Amos Lee concerts.  Kahan is definitely at the top of my wish lists for concerts to see.  And Red Rocks is at the top of my venue lists.

Saw Mat Kearney last Friday in Milwaukee.  He was great.

The Killers are channeling their inner Springsteen with 'Bright Lights.'

Hozier getting in touch with his inner U2 with 'Nobody's Soldier.'

Heading to Cancun early January for Out of the Blue. Noah Kahan, My. Joy, Lumineers, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and more. Can't wait!

Just took in Moon Crush in Mirimar Beach, very cool experience. Small crowd, you have your own "pod" of sorts, order food and drink from an app, delivered with ice for your cooler. Beach during the day, pickleball tourney, shows start at 5, and at 10, stayed in a condo that was a five minute walk to the stage. They are curated music events by Topeka Music (Almost Famous reference), I will absolutely be going again.

I must be old because I have no clue who any of these acts are. But then my first real concert was Mott the Hopple at the Riverside Theater in 1973!
