Are you secretly Tom Crean?
That may be the worst insult I have ever received.

The kid is good at the sport.

Still strikes as bizarre that 30% of Scoop wanted to disown any association with him and constantly disparaged him during the latter half of his MU career.

It is wild! Good human who was a great player and a big mental health and MU advocate.

There is some turd on Twitter who posts on almost every Howard highlight tweet putting him down and talking about “zero basketball iq” and “set our program (Marquette) back decades in basketball”

It’s quite hilarious. The dude is killing it and such fun to watch.

I always root for MU Alumni to do well in The Association of any other league they are in.

It helps the MU Cause.

So hopefully Markus can get some playing time in the regular season and continue to grow as a player.

My money's on this guy:

I don’t worship the Hausers, although them leaving was one the darkest days in recent MU history. I also think we’d have been a much better team if they’d stayed and Markus left.

You can keep bringing it up like it’s some outrageous claim, but guess what? He WAS a cancer! Players who tear teams apart are cancers. And frankly, there’s a large
Percentage of fans who agree with me. My guess is his teammates do, too.

Or in the seven years of Wojo, Markus is the only favorable memory that will stick with us. Everything else was meh.

Yup. Watching Markus at MU was a damn treat, it was unfortunate team success didn’t come with it.

I will say that the season where MU started like 23-4, which Markus and the Hausers were a big part of, is my most favorable memory of the wojo era. Despite the disastrous and catastrophic finish that team was fun as hell, awesome to watch and root for, until the wheels fell off…

I always told myself when Buzz left that MU fans were in for some dark days because that success under Buzz had us spoiled rotten.

Similarly, I think MU fans are in for some major disappointment if we think we will ever see as special of a scorer as MH. During those games when that ball just won’t make its way into the hoop we will realize it.
That said, overall team success under Shaka, with a renewed passion for defense to go along with a profound improvement in athleticism and effort, will hopefully make us completely forget about the previous era.

I’m not the Twitter guy of which you speak, but the post you dug up is as true today as the day I posted it.

I’ll give credit to Howard for one thing…he exposed Wojo. I guess that means you can add “coach killer” to his resume.

Michigan State just had its worst season since Tom Izzo's first year.

Yeah I think Joey was a bigger problem than Markus in retrospect. Sam and Markus seemed just fine until Little Bro showed up.

But that’s all in the past and hopefully we are in a better place now.

Say what you will about the Hausers but everywhere they go, bad things happen to teams.  It’s a pattern at this point.

Not sure that’s the case with Sam.

I'm not sure people have noticed but Jimmy Buckets is seriously balling early in the NBA season.  We're talking prime-time performances and dominating in every facet of the game.

He has a PG setting him up.  He doesn't have to initiate offense.

Goran Dragic isn't a PG?

Not like Lowry.   And Dragic's absence made a difference in the finals against LA.
