Did I read somewhere that NBA rosters were going to be at 15 instead of the usual 13 for at least the beginning of the season?

Yes, 15 players on active rosters for 2020-2021 season - https://www.nba.com/news/teams-allowed-to-carry-15-players-on-active-roster-for-2020-21-season

Well written article chronicling the three players competing for the last roster spot on The Raptors. Has some good detail on Henry.

Not gonna happen. Henry waived today.

I think the Warriors looking to fill that last spot with Jeremy Lin. Hopefully Juan  can stay with the Warriors G League team

Lin not signing.  Warriors signing another player to G-League.

This article has some good comments from Steve Kerr about Juan and the potential for the last two way spot on the Warriors roster

Congrats to Juan! Even if he sees little PT with the Warriors, his post-college development has been outstanding. Sort of Buycks-esque.

Delighted for Juan. Kid has worked very hard, he is playing on his Home Town team and the beautiful thing is the coach completely understands the value Juan brings.

Juan played a pretty solid first half, 3 rebounds, 2 blocks, and an assist  a -1 +/-, which is good, considering they are down 18

cven7

Not a bad line for Juan in the end:
4 pts on 2-2 shooting, 4 rebs, 2 assists, 2 blocks, 0 turnovers in 13 minutes.  -9 in +/- isn't horrible when the team loses by 26 points.

This is why I don't gamble.

I would have bet my life's savings against Juan playing even 1 second in the NBA.

Good for him. I hope he can hustle and work his way to a long career.

He honestly looked like the only Warrior who knew the fundamentals of basketball.

How many of Buzz's guys have made the NBA now?

How many of Buzz's guys have made the NBA now?

Depends. If you count Wes as a Buzz guy then Juan is a Wojo guy.

Overall it's:

Wes (Crean/Buzz)
Jerel (Crean/Buzz)
Lazar (Crean/Buzz)
Dwight
Jimmy
DJO
Jae
Vander
Jamil
Juan (Buzz/Wojo)
Deonte (Buzz/Wojo/Iowa State)
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

The Big East

Jae gets off to a nice start in the Suns season opening win.

The Big East

Juan with 3 rebounds and an assist in 13 minutes in the Warriors loss to The Bucks .

First of all, seeing "Dwight" after Wes Jerel and Lazar makes me think of Dwight Burke, who definitely did NOT play in the NBA.  Had to do a double take.

Also, you forgot Ellenson (Wojo) and Markus (Wojo).

Does Markus count yet?  ESPN has him at 1 GP but 0 minutes and no stats.  Did he get into that Clippers game briefly?

Yes.  They put him in with 26 seconds left to play in a game the Nuggets were losing by 13.  What happened was, the Clippers inbounded the ball to Markus' man.  The Clippers player was just going to dribble out the shot clock, but Markus hounded him on defense, going for the steal, forcing the guy to pass it off.  Markus then sat on edge for the rest of that possession until the Clippers were called for a shot clock violation.  Then Markus made damn sure he'd be the one to get the inbounds pass and, with 2 seconds left in a game that was completely decided and with nobody guarding him, he dribbled up the court as fast as he could and took a thirty foot jump shot as time expired.  The shot did not go in.  It was completely unprofessional, but if Markus gets in a game again, he'll at least be able to act like he's been there before.

We R Final Four

He came into the game with the Nuggets down 13 with 26 seconds left.  The Clippers ran down the shot clock to 2 seconds.  The Nuggets inbounded the ball to Markus and he launched one from the mid-court logo at the buzzer.  It rimmed out.

The above is from Heisy on another thread. I would say this counts. If you play 26 seconds.....that should be recorded as a minute. If you miss a 1/2 court shot, he should be 0-1 FG, 0-1 3pt.
Hopefully, he sees action and scores so this is not even up for debate.

Skatastrophy

So Markus is in Club Trillion.
