Brown obviously likes him, but TK was getting little to no PT before the Shamet injury. That injury is what gave Tyler the opportunity, and it's great that he has taken advantage of it.

That McBride also has been out the last couple weeks has broadened the opportunity for Kolek even more - and it even made Brown give the TK-Brunson backcourt a try. Again, kudos to Tyler for taking advantage of it.

Regardless of sport, lack of opportunity is the killer for players on the margins. When you get the chance, you'd better produce.

With all the recent TKo hype and Brunson being listed as out for Tuesday night's game along with Ononuby and McBride, it looks like there's a good chance Kolek will get his first career start against the Timberwolves tonight.

Just turned it on and TK having a heckuva game. Brought Knicks back from double digits down. Haven't seen him miss a 3. Just made a nice block.
