I think he's going back and forth on off nights to get some mins.  He played 2 mins last night in the Knicks blowout too. 

Correct. He didn't go to the G League showcase. Not sure what that means either way.

Unless Kam is going to run point, I don't think his game translates nearly as good as you think it does. He plays below the rim and not enough of a knock down shooter.

Henry is older, but if you are a serviceable big who can guard the rim and hit some shots, 27 isn't too old. Brook Lopez didn't get to the Bucks until he was 30. Not saying that Henry is a a Brook replacement or anything, but he's of a similar mold.

But comparing Henry to Brook Lopez is mind boggling. Brook was an All-Star at 24 and consistently averaged 17-21 PPG for an 8 year stretch. Meanwhile, Henry's playing against HS gym teachers for a team that can't outdraw the EAA museum. To compare the two is just silly.

i dont think the HS gym teachers thing has been true since it was called tbe D League. its a lot better talent now that they connected the two and forced out the aging marginal at best college players who were scared to leave the country.

Kolek flew in yesterday for the game after being with the Knicks and in his interview they asked him what it was like to come down for the Championship game and play with a team he is totally accustomed to and he compared it to being a part of a group project where you just show up for the presentation and get an A. Lol.

I fell pretty confident Kam's game will be just fine for the NBA, despite being a below the rim player.  I wouldn't be surprised to see him taken as a lottery pick.

I think Kam will play in the league.  I think lottery pick is optimistic.  A 4 year guard with one year at the point is not a typical profile.   But, it would be really cool if he were.

The age component of Kam and the lottery are valid for sure.  Assuming he continues to play at the level he's been playing thus far, I'd say his age would be the only reason he wouldn't be a lottery pick - yet I think he's just too good to pass on for a 19 year old that may have superstar potential.  Here's a great article from this past summer on Kam, NBA prospects, Shaka, etc.
