It's hydration powder.  Basically powdered electrolytes and sodium and some other things you'd find in a sports drinks, but a decent bit less sugar. You pour it in a bottle or cup of water and mix it up.

Water, Gatorade, and pedialyte all existed.  People were just not responsible enough to consume them.  Same as DripDrop.  First time I prepared a drip drop after a night of long drinking in my early 30s...I forgot to drink it.  Hell, I used to fill up a camelback to hang next to my bed in my late 20s and still forgot to hydrate.

Semi-related, Ive had many terrible drinking experiences as most people do.  Multi-day hangovers even in my early 20s, some bad learning lessons about the multiplier effect, mixing every alcohol you shouldnt, Four Lokos...however Ive NEVER puked the morning after drinking.  Once or twice I woke up from light sleep in the middle of the night, but never the next morning or day.  Its really my only drinking superpower.

Same.  Went about 15 years, sophomore year on, without puking.  Finally busted the record after a wild brewers tailgate, made the poor guy's condo's chitter we were staying at look like the bathroom from Trainspotting.

I got three bonus Arby's sauces today, I think the gal likes me but she always puts my name in as Kelvin and it's too late to correct her.

I did notice ~8 gallon jugs of Arby's sauce on the shelf and as I waited thought about a heist, looked around for an alarm system.

Also, they are hiring starting at $15 an hour.

As mayor of Arbyville, can't you just commandeer those jugs, claiming global pandemic and all?

Careful now, commandeering someone else's jugs will get you cancelled these days!

Sadly, it's across the border.   Someday I'll annex it though.

Not sure on DripDrops anymore, but Liquid IV qualifies for HSA spending. Huge.

My local establishment is offering $15/hr and free meals.  I thought of you when I drove by today.

Maybe a work release gig after your jail term for corruption (all pols do it).

Spicy pork skins and pepsi.

One real answer: bloody mary.

Dude. I'm old.  I roll out of bed to awake kids now.  That was reminiscing and offering sage advice from back in the living/staying downtown days.

My oldest is driving in a year, might have to start sending him to the kwik trip on weekend mornings.

Why?  Too expensive for the benefit gained, bad product?

I don't believe any of the more ludicrous claims of the product - "cellular transport technology", "hydration multiplier"

It's basically powdered electrolytes/gatorade.
