I use the hand held plastic urinal. Just stand up and let loose. Put the cover back on and go back to sleep. Empty in the AM, let soak in soap until the next night.

Nothing says “Rise and Shine” and makes me excited for a new day quite like dealing with a plastic bottle of tepid urine in the morning.

Happens annually in Madison.  Not a pretty sight.  The people that do this aren't the people that you want to see naked.

Heard that TSmith is going to participate in Milwaukee sans a seat.

Have been binge watching Family Affair to get my mind clear after that pathetic Packer loss.

One thing I never understand is why did Uncle Bill have that very large apartment  and the services of Mr.  French before he took custody of Cissy, Buffy and Jody?

For the same reason that the entire first part of It's a Wonderful Life was about how broke George Bailey's father was, but his family still had a maid.
Have some patience, FFS.

Bringing back the woolly mammoth from extinction?

My favorite line is about making the mammoths attractive to Asian elephants for mating: “We might have to give them a little shave.“ Waaaaay TMI…

Was reading about that here:

George Church is a crazy guy, has created some absurd technologies. This idea is surprisingly feasible, but an ethical quandary.

One of the weirder possible outcomes of this research is the artificial womb. Church has already found ways to convert stem cells into endometrial tissue, and plans on creating artificial wombs to host the Wooly Mammoths for the 22-month gestation cycle.

This would mean we are nearing the end of a need for either men or women in reproduction.

Yep. The ethics of a lot of the genetic engineering and other things he talks about is certainly questionable.

I am generally not one to oppose stem cell research and other genetic technologies, but this one strikes me as well down the slippery slope.

Is it just me or is an hour and forty minute set for Smashing Pumpkins a bit excessive?

Just won tickets to Riot Fest and looked at the schedule, seems absurd.

Tickets only a few. Free happy hours, beer sponsored parties, etc? Quite a lot. Been on a hot streak lately.
