Thank You agree ND sucks in many many ways. To name just some of the ways. It was the only school my Daughter or any of my kids was not accepted to out of many fine universities. Not sure if I would of let her go to ND even if she got accepted lol since I heard AL did not like ND. And AL turned ND down, but recommended Digger. My MU Roommate's Dad and Bro went to ND and he says ND is no one's friend. And ND ditched the Old BE. BUT MU's relationship with ND is very complicated. Our current AD Bill Scholl, Women's BB Coach and recent AD Larry Williams graduates from ND. And ND and UConn were our friends in the Old BE where MU achieved 8/8 Big Dances. Jay Bilas once said as long as Marquette is in the Old Big East MU will either make the Big Dance or be very close. When MU entered the Old BE the greatest of sources literally whispered in my ear We will be very good for a very long time. Hence 8/8 NCAAs Made. When MU entered the New BE the greatest of sources again literally whispered in my ear. Do not worry about it. It is only basketball. Hence 2or3/6or7 NCAAs Made. That said the MU program is back the last 2 Years. Not Old BE back but back.

Is the New Big East a better conference than the Old BE would of been from 2014-2020 Probably. Would MU have made more NCAAs if MU stayed in the Old BE which the Catholic 7 turned down Probably. Did MU take one for the Catholic 7 Probably. Are Villanova, Prov, SH, CU happier and MU, UConn, Syr and GU not as happy probably. That said again the MU Program is back the last 2 Years, not Old BE back but Back.
