When I was growing up in the Falls people always mentioned going uptown if anywhere near the 4 corners, apparently the Falls had no downtown?

I grew up there too. I wonder if it was related to the fact that the main routes there (especially Appleton Avenue) went uphill.

Interesting article about the last original Arby's sign in Austin. The article also has a bit of Arby's history and the upkeep of the old signs, and estimates that there are maybe 100 or so of the original signs still out there.
