I've played golf in Phoenix when it was 114 degrees.  With a cooler full of iced bottled waters, it was perfectly fine.

Although over 9 holes, I must have drank several liters of water without going to the bathroom once.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

It is amazing the amount of water you have to pound out there.

My youngest is picking up a Subaru WRX tonight.  He's paying for it....Yeah, no co-signer too.

Best part about this.  He thinks I'm a little less un-cool cause he can't drive stick (yet) worth sh1t, and I can.   ;D

I'm gonna light em up all the way home!!!!

No worries chili, you're still very uncool.

I have heard good things about the WRX. My current ride is a VW GTI with a 6-speed manual. I assume you're taking the looooong way home to show him how it's done?   ;)

Only downside to the WRX is the 91 octane requirement.  I've got an EZ30 in MU subby with the same requirement and while you can run it on 87, the engine will let you know it isn't happy.

Otherwise, the WRX is a lot of fun.  You've raised a very wise son.

When watching Dora the Explorer on Univision, does Tico speak only in English?

This. Also Amazing how far one beer on the course goes when you're dehydrated.

i've golfed up here in 90 degree heat with 70% humidity-18 holes-no potty stops on many bottles of water, but my shirt, pants and shoes were soaked

Az. golf in 100-115 degrees/8 % humidity-18 holes-no potty stops on many bottles of water- shirt and pants almost dry as a popcorn fart

some of the serious dudes in AZ. have golf carts with A/C-the wusseys anyway

That's the only thing I don't like about my GTI. Fortunately, 91 octane his moderately more affordable at Costco.

We have the meats.

I just ate at Arby's for the first time in years.  The deep fried turkey sandwich was very good, and the fact it was turkey gives me the false belief it was somewhat healthy.

Chip butty is where it's at

Chips are often a great addition to a sandwich, but they should never be the principal ingredient.
