The Bison football team is playing in the FCS semifinals today at 1:00, and the whole city is buzzing about that game. The local paper didn't even send a reporter to cover our game, so if they had pulled off the upset, they would have had to reprint a story from a wire service.

Saw that on TV. My guess is that they were mostly NDSU alums who live in nearby. But in Fargo (where my daughter lives), most people had no idea the BB team was even playing last night.

I was surprised hockey wasn't in closer competition with football, but I guess the NDSU football team has been a power in the FCS long enough to create some noticeable distance.

I certainly don't know what the answer is. There are bad people out there in all religions, races, creeds, colors, etc. It's always worse when a trusted adult takes advantage of children.
