As far as people missing, I'm worried WarriorDad isn't posting as much anymore. Good to see Chicos made it back though.

82's 2-week Arby's bender / Scoop vacation ended a couple days ago.

We'll probably find him under a bridge somewhere, with a BAC of .5.

It says loss of vehicle stability (i.e. all stability is lost), not a loss to vehicle stability (i.e. less stability).

You kill me sometimes Benny.

Rule of thumb in the real world: there is no such thing as "total" control or a "total" loss thereof. Even in the medicolegal context (where "loss of control" is often used as a defense), psychiatric experts know that it's always a matter of degree.

I don't mean to alarm anyone, but I think we're out of gravy.

And we used our emergency gravy last time.

Given the latest insights regarding political preferences......https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/kristine-marsh/2018/11/29/journalists-love-washpost-using-google-diagnose-men-who-voted......I assume 82 and Mrs.82 used the time very productively.

I'm guessing this is a reference to something that I dont get, but here goes anyway....

Just mix arby's sauce and horsey sauce and you've got gravy for anything.

Gotta love Toyota's understatement in the recall of vehicles whose REAR WHEELS MIGHT FALL OFF. Apparently the loss of rear wheels leads to "a potential loss of vehicle stability" which "could increase the risk of a crash."

Potential? Could? Umm...a 2 or 3-wheeled car would definitely be less stable, and would definitely be at increased risk to crash.

My older brother bought a brand new Pontiac Grand Prix in the late 90's. After picking it up he had to return to the dealer for paperwork a day or two later. On the way home he stopped in the left turn lane of an off ramp. The light turned green and he started turning, at which point one of his wheels fell off in the middle of the intersection.  Bolts sheared.  Dealer wanted to "repair" it. Took calls and letters to Pontiacs Regional VP over several weeks to get them to replace the car.

Keep in mind we're talking stability here, not control.  Yes, there are degrees of control.  But stability is like pregnancy, you either have it or you don't.  Ergo, there's no such thing as a "less stable" car... it's either stable or it's not.

And we used our emergency gravy last time.

The day after Thanksgiving, my sister-in-law and her family came over to our house to help us polish off some of the left overs.  Unfortunately, we didn't have any leftover gravy.  She said she'd take care of it.  She showed up with three jars of Heinz Homestyle Turkey Gravy.  Fat free.  Truly, it would be hard to effectively describe how vile that stuff was.

Weird, but fantastic combination? Turkey on white, plain. Except with a wasabi spread on both sides of the bread. It's awesome.

Ha .. disagree!

That's our regular and emergency gravy brand.  Look, you pop some Bob Evan's mashed potatoes in the microwave, heat up some Heinz gravy .. boom, that's a side dish.

I mean, sure, real gravy is excellent, but after a dozen jars of Heinz, you're good with it.

I don't drive a Toyota.

And yes, there are degrees of stability. Go to the NHTSA website, and you will find all kinds of data regarding relative stability of various vehicles (i.e., SUVs' stability with respect to their risk of rollovers).

Anyhow, we're gonna have to agree to disagree. Peace, bro.

Maybe you're not eating the fat-free stuff, and the regular is better?  Because seriously, if you like the stuff that I tried, I may have to reconsider much of what I previously thought about you.  Your affinity for Arby's always made me think that you were a true epicurean.

Ah, there it is.  We get the red label, full fat gravy.   Never tried the green label stuff.

.. keep in mind, as you eat more Arby's, your taste buds for non-Arby's foods go dormant.
