I've heard good things about the new Silk.

I thought they decided to call it the Fiserv Forum.

Are you from out of town?   Kinda changes the advice.

Safehouse is an interesting option.  Pizza Man.  Bel air Cantina.   Milwaukee Ale House.  Riverfront Pizza.  Smokeshack BBQ.  Wicked Hop.

Art's Performing Center has a nice buffet.  Bring lots of singles.

Safehouse is a horrible suggestion.   Just sayin.

Thank you one and all for your suggestions. We went to Oscar's for burgers, it was good. Looking forward to trying some of the other places that were suggested. Been to the SafeHouse once, it was as fun and once  is enough in my opinion.

Skip all the suggestions and go to Points East Pub for wings.

There is a pretty good chili place on Wells, but the name escapes me.

There's a chili place on Wells? For real?

Where is it in relation to Real Chili?
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

.  Smokeshack BBQ.

Um, have you not been paying attention?!?  Smokeshack is smokecrap.  Doc's is the answer.  And objective evidence found here:

Unabashedly biased.  I will say this, however:  two places to get decent BBQ in the Milwaukee market—Doc's and Double B's in 'stallis.

I'm very pleased they put Iron Grate in the fiserv. Started out as one cooker in the back of Hawthorne Coffee about 3 blocks from my house. Have since upgraded their location, added a food truck, and now partnered with the forum. Very good BBQ joint.

Anyone else think they intended the double entendre when they named the Pontiac Vibe?

Mornin',  gtmoBlue, ancient Creighton guy.   A HoF question since the Warriors/GE's are our big brother.  Question:  Does Marquette have any Fans/Superfans in your HoF as contributors?

As an aside...What's the local take on the W/GE's potential for this upcoming season?

Thanks,

There's a Scoop HoF?  Is this only available on the underboard?
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

Nope...mainly for the MU HoF question.  But a really biased take on your upcoming season would be refreshing.   ;)

I usually come and survey AE, Cracked Sidewalks, this board once or twice a year to gauge opinions, but the HoF question is getting some play on one of the Jays boards and I thought I'd check in here and see what the upper class do/does?

Back on topic, my office overlooks an ocean inlet and the approach to a Naval Air Station.  This afternoon, a pair of bald eagles were cruising up and down the inlet, and jets were practicing for a weekend air show.

I did not get as much done as hoped.

They're tearing up the main road that leads to our subdivision. The road is desperately in need of repaving, but it's making it a real pain.

I'm debating whether I should thank the workers or flip 'em off for making me wait. Maybe I'll do both and really throw 'em off...

What, like they made the decision to tear up that road?

the evolution of good bbq-
LD's bbq a little bit outside the milwaukee market, but might be worth the drive sometime.  started out with a smoker and a tent off the hwy 43/164 exit waukesha.  kwik stop buys the gas station he was leasing from- moved on down the road to east troy hwy 43/20 exit.  BP gas station adds on a 400 sq. ft space for him.  kwik stop is buying out the BP.  LD just bought and is remodeling the old burger king bldg. 1 block away.  getting daamn near 5***** ratings on many sites

Why would you ever flip off a road worker?
