That would conflict with the wedding I went to this weekend, where the 22 year old bride was sporting a new pair.  Apparently her new husband only paid for one.

That will make for some interesting exchanges. "No, you can't touch that one!"

Hmmm.... I was just thinking it might be about time to revive the discussion on the refund gap.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

I've never had any trouble getting a refund from the Gap.

Who paid for the other one? Can you get only 1 boob at a time?

We need pics to figure this out, aina.

Good riddance. Better wings, beer, and boobs out there than I could get at Hooters.

The driver thought she was only going 100. Did she really think that would help?

The only thing worse than having to eat at Olive Garden is visiting a podunk town where OMYGOSH-We-Have-an-Olive-Garden-Now and having to WAIT IN LINE to eat at Olive Garden.

Not that I'm bitter, but thanks for the "Italian" meal, Uncle Jimmy.

Really of all the fast casual restaurants I'd choose that over most of them. Chili's, TGI Friday's or Applebee's would be my bottom dwellers.

Meh. I certainly wouldn't choose to eat any of those but they are "jack of all trades" restaurants where they aren't supposed to have good food, they just have a variety of food. Olive Garden has a specialty and they suck at it.

Perhaps we can all agree that the only reason Olive Garden (or Chili's, TGI Fridays, or Applebee's) is at the bottom is that Chi-Chi's went out of business.  My goodness, that "specialty" restaurant sucked.

The first time my very mid-western then-fiance came to visit my family in Phoenix, we wanted to take her out for Mexican food.  She said she hated Mexican food.  When we asked her where she had tried it, she told us that she'd been to Chi-Chi's.  We quickly discovered that she actually loved Mexican food...she just hated that crap they served at Chi-Chi's.

I was fortunate enough to avoid Chi Chi's. Though I also thought that I didn't like Mexican food. After I moved down to Texas, I realized that I actually love Mexican food, but I hate Tex Mex, which often gets passed off as Mexican in the midwest.

Wasn't it also a combination of bankruptcy and hepatitis that drove Tommy Lee to reality TV?

IMO, chains  are for when you are traveling  by  car.  Eat local near home.

Yeah when I am travelling for work, I oftentimes will eat at a chain because I know what I'm going to get.  I'm trying to think of the last time I went to a chain near my house...Culvers probably.  I know we went to Olive Garden within the last few months because the wife had a craving - and it wasn't bad.

Totally agree about eating local near home. And I even try to scout out decent local places when I travel, so national chains truly are a last resort.

Chi-Chi’s - ugh!

One of my absolute favorite things about traveling is eating at local places wherever I am. I really try to avoid chains on the road. I’m perfectly happy to risk the occasional bad meal to try new places. Over the years, I’ve come out way, way ahead.
