Yep .. the occupants had health issues and other troubles for years.

We're pleased it's on the market.  It'll take a lot of TLC to fix up the place, inside and out.

As Tuesday was .. St. Nick's day, I've wondered how many people (with kids) celebrate St. Nick's day .. the tradition is a shoe outside your bedroom (or stocking on the fireplace) that St. Nick fills overnight with candy, or fruit, and/or a small gift.

In Minnesota, we did this every year.

My son's teacher spoke of the tradition today, but also mentioned Black Peter, who apparently is St. Nick's sidekick.

Growing up (in WI) we got stockings filled with candy, etc.
Raised our kids in Georgia nad it was really not a "thing" thing there.  But we kept the tradition alive for our kids and now they do with theirs.
