Do you think he lugs his personal tanning bed around with him from job to job, or does he just buy a new one when he moves?

TC's game is a young man's game.  He's all about interjecting energy.  Can a 50 year old do that?   He should go find a high paying NBA assistant gig.

We know he can't game coach.  I just don't see him being an effective college coach anymore because I don't see him working as hard as he did at MU.

Chicos, meanwhile...

I suspect we're about to find out Chicos also went to NC State.

What does he bring to the table as an NBA coach?  His forte was recruiting.
Have some patience, FFS.

I wish someone would can me and give me $4m to take a hike.

If I were him, I'd go hard after the Cal job.

Significantly less pressure from the fanbase. Good job. Beautiful part of the country. Terrible conference.

Lot of opportunity for building a good basketball program there. Cuonzo was never really right for that job.

I don't think NC State will go after him, but you never know. Would be interesting to see some Crean-Buzz matchups in the ACC. Assuming Buzz isn't already busy floating his name out for various 2017 openings.

Indiana didn't even play Kentucky this year, they beat Kansas in their first game.  He's only 50 and there will be offers for him soon, if not already.

Zaire will join Stan Johnson on Quinnipiac's roster when Stan gets the call.........
Kostas to transfer, hey?

Yeah, I think I could manage to live off of that until I am old enough to tap my 401(k).
Have some patience, FFS.

I agree, don't see his value in the NBA. However, his real forte is marketing a program. Honestly, he's one of the best at it.

Honest question (because I don't know the answer off the top of my head)... How many coaches have been fired by a "blue blood" and immediately been hired at another high-major school (i.e. didn't take a season off in between)?

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Will Riley get a release from his IU baseball scholarship?

Crean to DePaul

I laughed, but he would be a great hire. Dead program, no buzz, opening a large arena. They need a marketer, that's Crean's wheelhouse.

It'd be terrible. Nobody would buy Crean's act in Chicago, least of all HS coaches

Did not like how TC's departure from MU went down, but he truly needs to be recognized for all the good things he did for MU.  4ever and others may want to ridicule him, but he did produce at a high level.  Hope he lands well.

In a different part of the country, I agree. But I think he's too well known around Chicago because of MU and IU, and those negative feelings are going to hurt his schtick.
