Froling, EKE, and Franklin.

Hauser and Marotta.

Make sure you count slowly, here. 3 in the first line; 2 in the second line. My belief is that 3 > 2.

Have to love when the condescending sarcasm backfires.

Looks like Jeenathan Williams is starting to narrow prospects. Looks like Buzz is working the order pretty hard.

Cool.  Hope he enjoys whatever city he ends up in for college.  It won't be Milwaukee.

You should consider upgrading your upstate contacts, considering they were telling you that Stan was spending a lot of his time recruiting Jeenathan to MU this summer.  Or maybe Stan was but Jeenathan just wasn't interested in what Stan was selling, considering he doesn't even list MU on this list?  So maybe we should no longer consider Stan for the head coaching position that will be opening when we fire Wojo after this year to give Stan his chance...

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Interesting that Syracuse is not listed for Williams. Gotta couple of buddies who are Syracuse and they were sure that Williams was going to the Orange. Wonder if its just an innocent omission or if one side cooled on the other.

Joey Hauser broke his foot.

His injuries are concerning.

Edit: I now see there is a thread dedicated to this discussion.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Twitter says we offered Tyrese Maxey. He is of the big fish variety. Ranked in the top 20 for the 2019 class. Another Texan combo guard. Clearly Grimes is going to come to Marquette, lead us to a national championship, go pro, and Wojo will have to reload.

Maxey played up with RM5's 17U team in EYBL.. teammate was another MU target, De'Vion Harmon

Very good EYBL numbers as a rising Jr. for Maxey...
117 ORtg/25% usage/50.6% eFG%/20% Ast/12% TO. Only 31% on 3FG% where about 40% of his takes are, but 89% FT% may indicate the 31% can be higher.

Also played very well at NBPA Top 100 Camp this summer (120 ORtg on 30% [!!] usage).

So when MU is not on that list, you will stop bringing his name on the MU recruiting page.........since we are no longer recruiting him? I hope.

Yes when he knocks us out of the running .

Jeenathan may not decide until the late period and our circumstance may change as well.

Nobody cares about a guy that has a 0% chance of coming to Marquette.

+1. Jackie there are thousands of videos of players who aren't coming here. Why not post those?

Lots of things can happen between now and the final signing period. If he posts a final 5-7 etc and we are not in the running then it is case closed.

The fact is the whole coaching staff was watching him closely this summer, and he is getting lots of offers from quality schools. The other fact is we are still recruiting for one spot. Yes,  Quentin should necessarily be our focus  for that one spot, for the simple reason he has publicly announced he is open minded to our overtures. However, that doesn't mean we just stop talking to whoever else we were talking to. It doesn't work that way. We have a relationship and dialogue with the club coach and there are other players in that program we are actively looking at. It is a balancing act that our coaches are very good at.

Ok--let's make a deal. If we are in his final list, you can continue to discuss and post videos of him until we are no longer on his list or he commits.
If we are not in his final list of schools, then you will no longer post videos or discuss JW. Deal?

I saw a bunch of new posts so I thought maybe there was an interesting update. Should have known better.

I see Wisconsin lost to Melbourne United by 1 overseas.  If Herro were playing, they would have won by 98 - one point for each of the 33 three-pointers he would have nailed.

This season the Badgers are going to lose a lot more games than their entitled fanbase is accustomed to.  Don't think they'll handle it well.  Should be interesting.

I believe Melbourne also beat Texas by 10. Reading too much into foreign tours is usually a bad idea.

MU is out on JW.   Once Joey signed the only focus is QG....
