Seems like a waste of time to me.  I struggle to envision how we land Ledee or Moore. Stan is great, but he's not a miracle worker.

If you are only going to have 1-2 openings in the 2018 class, you can aim high.

Lol.

By the way, Ledee is a top 50 guy. Certainly not out of MU's league.

Moore and Grimes are the top 15 guys.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

2018 we will only have 1 to 3 schollies to give.  1 of those will likely go to Joey Hauser. That means you can shoot real high for those remaining 1 to 2 scholarships.  Because even if you miss on all of them, you can still get a traditional transfer,  a grad transfer,  a late blooming freshmen,  or bank it for a mid-season transfer in 2019.

17 we had to get numbers and fill needs so we didn't go after many big fish.  In 18 it's go big or go home

Jaedon LeDee's mom. It would appear the visit went well.

Stan is rockin' some killer threads there!

Looks like a sportscoat Al might have worn. I love it!

He's a top 50 guy, from Texas, with offers from KU, UK, UCLA, etc.

It is a long term multi year process. We need to be seen going after the best players year after year. We are marketing our top tier viability to coaches , players and parents. Also a lot of these kids are going to end up being disappointed when they go to the one and done factory and we are now in a position to pick one up on the rebound if we were there during the high school recruiting.

There are these things called opportunity costs, ya know?

Not when you're only trying to fill 1 to 3 scholarships and one of those is likely spoken for already. Playing with house money

Oh, do please educate us more.
Better yet, please educate Stan and Wojo, who apparently have much to learn about the best uses of their time.

Fine enough as long as we recognize these recruitments as the Hail Marys that they are.

Exactly.  And its most likely to be 2, assuming we land at least 1 regular transfer.  I am hopeful on Morrow.

1 goes to Bailey

1 most likely goes to Joey

The big fish we're after could be replacements if Joey goes elsewhere, or fill an opening via transfer.  If we strike out on the Kevon Moores/Quintin Grimes/LeDees, there is no guarantee there was ever a spot for them.

MU has 11 scholarship players for 2018, that is saying Bailey is for sure coming.  Now if they get Hauser, they will have one left.  Still might get Morrow.  There
thinking might be, why not go for the roses.   Maybe Hauser is not coming, or Bailey decides to change his mind.  Have to keep recruiting.  They did get Howard
from Arizona and Bailey from Utah, Reinhardt from Cali, so you never know the connection the coaches might connect with one of these kids.  Second time down
to Georgia already.  It is one thing to go once, but a second time means interest.  It will be interesting when one of these kids commits, to see what happens then.

Looks like it's between Marquette, Iowa St and Pitt for Nebraska transfer Ed Morrow. Is scheduled to visit all three schools.

You know what you get from him, that is for sure plus again who does not like transfers that can take a year and work on there weaknesses.  But wonder is he
better than the kids they are recruiting who would be true freshman?

Excellent news. Ed is exactly the kind of Big East style forward we have needed.

5XL or GTFO.

I agree with this analysis.
Looks like we may want them to get in the weight room with Todd, though.
