Grimm was the second best big man in the state during his senior year behind Paul Davis, who went to Sparty.    A slight gap there.   Or maybe Crean just couldn't develop bigs.  At least none of them will be intimidated by the weather.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

6'11" 260 lb freshman transferring.

Don't really know anything about him, but was a 4-star and has the type of size we need.

No idea if he'd have interest here, but I'd be happy with Froling. He'd be a nice Luke replacement. His only real downside this year is turnovers, and he'd have a year to work on that. Who knows if we'll have any shot or interest, though.

Take a look at this scouting report from Draft Express. A couple red flags:

http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Harry-Froling-76518/

• "The first impression you get of Froling is that of his body, which is extremely poorly conditioned at the moment."
• "He has indeed shown to be somewhat on the lazy side on [the defensive] end of the floor with the lackadaisical attitude he displays towards stepping out on the pick and roll, getting a hand up on shooters, or rotating over the weakside for blocks."

Here's an excerpt from Froling's Draft Express scouting report:

Well the description of his defense isn't exactly a ringing endorsement.  Sounds like the description of a 6'11" Gardner.

Didn't mean to post such a long excerpt. Edited out of respect for copyright. Rocky, does this fall within guidelines?

I think so.  There's a lot of content at the site you linked, you summarized a couple points.  All good.

SG from Oklahoma. Was originally class of 16 but decided to do a year at prep school when he didn't get the level of offers he wanted. He's at basketball powerhouse Brewster Academy now. He had some interest from Shaka last year but they never pulled the trigger on an offer: http://texas.247sports.com/Article/Curtis-Haywood-II-drawing-interest-from-Texas-Shaka-Smart-44566128. Seems to have a reputation as a defense first guard.

I agree, since they will only have pigmy guards next year, 6'5' guard would be a nice addition.  Cheatham really is a wing which just leaves Duane, and who is to say
he will be at MU next year.  In saying that, having a child, I am sure he will stay here, much like Tillman staying close to home

We R Final Four

I am not so sure, and am not sure why you are so sure. Lots of possibilities with this one.

Cain is a big incoming guard/wing.  Bailey the following year.

True, but that video was posted over a year ago. Hopefully he's put on more muscle since then. I like the way he runs the floor. Pretty sweet jump hook in close.

You can scout the country all you want, but if Wojo and his staff aren't biting, nothing that you find is relevant.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.
