Pemberton says he talks to Shaka " everyday " .........lots of good things to say about the relationship.

Obviously he has blown up so he's going to take more visits.

It doesn't even have to be about basketball; he's been like my mentor, just asking me about what I'm doing. We just talk every day. You know, they had a losing record last year, but you couldn't really tell walking on the campus. Everyone was smiling, everybody jumping up and down; like they hadn't even lost a game. So I really like the vibe at Marquette."

Ive hoped Pemberton would come here since we offered. He's blown up since then. Would be a great get.

Akon Nyok is apparently visiting MU. Not sure when the Maryland site talked to him but it could be this weekend?

With the dead period on the horizon, Nyok told IMS that he will be setting up a visit with the Terps sometime between late August or sometime in September.

Nyok is set to jump on a  flight to Milwaukee this evening and begin his official visit with Marquette, a program who has been involved since May.

The bigger question........why a kid from Chicago.......with offers from Illinois, Northwestern, DePaul.......not to mention Eastern and Western Illinois!..........didn't include any of them in his top 6?

Shaka seems to have worked very hard for Jaxson Davis, and he seems to be an achievable top 50 cop.

Really pulling for Coach to get him because he's had several elite recruit close calls lately.

Would be incredible to have something like Nigel, Jaxson Davis, Adrien, and Nolan as a 4man guard rotation
