what's your take? Offer something. Criticizing is easy. I can say this...under my watch, Hamilton is gone. Never recruited, actually. Tre and a few others, same. Otherwise, not sure what I've posted is unreasonable, considering recent futility.

My take is what the reality of college basketball is.  You recruit guys nationally.  You recruit guys who buy into your program and who you can also afford.  You plug and play if there are gaps.  This isn't rocket surgery.  Wasting resources to get local guys is stupid.  The coaches know if they have a shot with a guy, and they are rarely blind sided.  Throwing a bunch of time and resources at the wall in Wisconsin just to see what sticks is foolishness.  The good kids are all getting recruited nationally, and you can tell from a meeting or two how interested they are in Marquette.
