Not necessarily their fault, but I've gathered that Marquette fans are looking for more :)

Yes, we are looking for more players who are dominant. Who can out play their opponents. We want to win.

Do speed, quickness and basketball IQ figure into that equation?

Frashad Tisby (247)

Although Tisby is ranked No. 126 overall, he is more of an underrated prospect gaining momentum as the summer continues. His showing this week was a clear example of him trending in the right direction as he was an aggressive, productive scorer within the flow of things offensively.

At 6-foot-5, the lean and rangy-built wing was lethal connecting on spot-up shots from deep. He also scored without wasted motion putting the ball on the floor and kept things simple at all times.

The high-major attention is there. South Carolina has had him on campus for a visit. Marquette, which most recently offered, will bring him on campus this weekend.

It's really too bad Akol Nyuk never got a chance to play for Buzz.  I can just imagine Buzz yelling to him from the bench, "Nyuk, Nyuk, Nyuk!!!".

South Carolina is a high major program?  Sure, on the women's side.

ACC last place Ga Tech is also involved.

Looks like that covers the "high majors". We're really aiming high here.

I don't think you understand what a high major is.

Conference affiliation does not make a program a high major.

How about results, which has been extremely bleak for them other than an out of nowhere run to the FF in '17 that started with basically two home games.

Ahh... so like Minnesota.. they are clearly not a high major? Gonzaga is one of the top high majors in all of the land?

But if South Carolina puts together a few consecutive seasons like they had 3 years ago, then they are a high major again?

So...then can Saint Louis be considered a high major?

The term "high major" has always applied to conferences, therefore membership in a high major conference is the widely accepted determining factor. Last season's awful record did not negate Marquette's high major status.
