Hard to argue that Bama isn't a basketball school now, but I do remember when they had some decent football teams.

I took this to mean Marquette and Auburn are essentially a two horse race for Alex Egbuonu.

Not sure if that answers MuMark's question or not.  Perhaps JFP can clarify.

Hard to tell where we stand with Egbuonu or Morillo. I get some Cam Ward vibes with both of them. The longer those recruitments go, the less confident I am. But we haven't moved on to other 2026 targets that I've seen, so not giving up hope quite yet.

Egbuonu has been pretty consistent in saying he plans to commit around Christmas, right? I have no idea about Morillo's timing but I agree, the longer these go on the more I get the feeling that they go elsewhere

Honestly... I hate Bruce Pearl and wanted to call him evil. At best he is corny and unaware .

I don't know where we are with Egbuonu. My guess is they are still in with both, but only have one scholarship left so are they really "in" for either.

In genrally we don't need to be recruiting all that much right now. My guess is they are on to 2027 in alot of ways.

Christmas will soon be canceled in this country, so I fear he may never commit.
