if directed at me, I was referring to the 'hire' comment. NCAA 'settlement'...not my lane.

whoa....it's all good.  :)

Gotcha. But yes...players are being hired. As they should be.

Why would anyone want to go to Rutgers or Georgia Tech? At least Georgia offer broads..

This feels very in the bag.

I agree, especially after reading James' comments:

"Relationship is going to be big for me. The relationship with the coach and the relationship the team has. I want to play for a coach that lets their guards go, and that has a trust and a belief in me. My biggest thing though is going to be the relationship."

I think MU clears the other 3 schools, but the wild card is Rutgers - they have insane NIL and for this coming year, have two 5 stars coming and a top 5 recruiting class - which I am assuming is all because of NIL as Rutgers is not a basketball powerhouse.

Rutgers has a couple of the top recruits in the country this year.  I wouldn't sleep on them.

I guess money is the big wildcard, but it is a very odd list of schools.

Agree that the list of schools is quite odd.

He's only listed at 6'0"

May have something to do with it.

He's small but he's tough. I think I still prefer Lewis to him (especially if Sean Jones is on the roster for 2 years with him) and think we would only take one. But he's a nice get if Lewis isn't in play.

Rutgers: "My friend Dylan Harper is going there, and my other friend Bryce Dortch is also going there. But I have a great relationship with coach T.J. [Thompson], coach Steve Pikiell. I took a visit there. It was a great school, great atmosphere. I liked it a lot."

Thanks for sharing. Excellent article. This is a very good sign, that our system is appealing to young talent. I like that Shane was formerly focused on the gridiron.
