Both are outliers, but I think there is no chance of all four coming back.

Oso is gonna have a Grad degree and will be a top 40 draft prospect at the end of the year.

He'll be playing professionally.

I do not think all four are back next year, but think there is very little chance that all four are gone. That said, I hope MU puts four guys into the NBA every year. I do believe that MU will be putting at least one guy into the NBA more years than not moving forward.

El Guerrero 2

I think Oso is likely gone, Tyler and Chase are most likely back, and the big question mark is Kam. Part of me hopes he's gone because that means he takes his game to the next level this season.

I'll be shocked if Kolek is back

I know he's talked about taking the fifth year, but he'll be 23 going into this draft cycle. If he wants to play in the NBA he should go.

I love Tyler, but I'll be shocked if he has more than a cup of coffee in the NBA. Even if he proves himself as an elite three point shooter this season, he can't guard more than a handful of players in the NBA. I think he's smart enough to realize he can make more money at MU next year before pursuing a professional career in Europe.

MU82

Nobody here knows what Kolek wants.

If he wants a legit shot at an NBA career, he probably should leave after this season. At his age even now, things are already stacked up against him some.

If he's fine playing in Europe for a few years and/or getting into coaching, and if he continues to love the Marquette hoops experience, then coming back, earning NIL and getting a grad degree makes sense.

Now that I said all that, he's practically guaranteed to come back for the 2024-25 MU season and then go on to play 10 years in the NBA.

I can't see Kam going pro next year. I have trouble seeing him in the NBA at all.

Or he can spend another year in college exposing himself to injury.  Based on how they've recruited, it seems obvious to me they do not expect Kolek back

I saw an interview with Kam recently where he basically said it would have to be a no brainer decision for him to go.

He also said he is in no hurry and feels fortunate to be at MU and play for Shaka.

Not exact quotes but that was the gist of it.

Recruiting Royce Parham, Damarius Owens, Kon Knueppel, and Matt Hodges makes it obvious they think Tyler is gone? If anything it suggests the exact opposite.

Sean and Tre undoubtedly are up next at PG, but they were recruited long before Tyler was ever even a glimmer in the NBA's eye. Tyler and Tre can play together and Sean can still be Tyler's backup next season. Sean may not like that outcome, but I don't think there is anything to read into Tyler's future based on Sean's presence on the team.

Perhaps, but if Tyler has a similar season to last year and has all the same type of accolades, he's gone.  Someone will draft him.

The idea he's not good enough for the NBA but good enough for Marquette is a weird argument anyway.

Respectfully, Unk, not that weird. Over the years there have been lots and lots and lots of very good and even award-winning college players who weren't good enough for the NBA. We've had a lot of them just at Marquette.

Who is Tyler's comp in the NBA? Collin Gillespie? If all our collective dreams come true, maybe Tyler has a collegiate resume that compares to Gillespie's (and that is probably a stretch). Gillespie didn't get drafted and will be fortunate to sit on the last seat of an NBA bench this season.

The NBA is an example of a hyper tail-end-distribution environment. When you have a league comprised of the top .0001% of basketball players in the world, its a different game altogether and GMs are looking for different things than college coaches.

Correct but his name is already being mentioned as an NBA player.  If he has another season like last year, he's gone

Kolek is an ideal backup PG in the NBA.  Elite distributor and good enough shooter.

This is at a Zach Edey situation.  In the right spot, he can have a solid NBA career
