Good call.  The Hausers were sure proven right.  One joined the defending national champions and got bounced in the first round.  The other joined "Mr. March" and got bounced in the play in game, while coming off the bench.

Maybe this also contributed to Brendan Bailey going pro, hey? I mean, if he didn't want to deal with an already graduated Markus Howard being in the team, Bates being 2 years from ever playing with him and committing to a different school might've put the same fears in Bailey's mind that Markus did.

Might've been better off trying to rip me for being incorrect when the narrative that's being pushed is not that the Hausers were so clearly right about leaving MU if the Hausers had actually won some NCAA Tournament games since leaving MU. But do you. You're great at it.

They were clearly right. They got out from under a program led by a guy who couldn't coach (who you thought was a home run) and got to play for guys who will end up in the Basketball HOF. For anyone who plays basketball that's a win.

That's true. Like Sam and Virginia winning the ACC. 

Also, Joey playing on a team that  knocked off three top 5 teams late season and played their way into the tournament, lost in OT to an eventual Final Four team, and not getting run out of the gym in an NCAA game.

I know these aren't  spectacular accomplishments (major conference regular season champion is damn good for any program though), but that's still way beyond what Wojo proved capable of.

So yeah, in just one season out from under incompetent coaching, they did more in team success than Wojo could have possibly delivered.

I think the Hausers leaving MU showed a number of things.  First, Wojo isn't a great coach.  Second, Sam is a decent but not great player.  Third, Joey is overrated.
